Sand trap
It’s a cheap course alright but there are small things that makes it better and one is putting some sand on sand traps
been there few times this year and was waiting if they fix but as of yesterday it hasn’t
hopefully one day
Staff is rude
The staff there is very rude. He insulted the whole time and told his colleagues how bad we are in front of us. I don’t know if that’s the way to do customer services
Executive course - name it what it is
Gotta rant… tired of the marketing game where you can’t filter searches to exclude these. The 2 rating would move to a three if the course name changed to “Executive Classic”. Course review - Primarily par 3s with the occasional driver option. Played on a sunny day, however prior rain day “flooding” was evident across many holes - not excusable as the Grange course (part of the same Rolling Hills complex) exceeds at this. Bunkers were unplayable. Retrieved six golf balls from the four inch deep ‘lake’ in the middle of the 18th (only one was mine). May return but not for at least a month… that’’s how long it will take for the fairways, bunkers, and paths to recover from beginner cart damage. Pace was slow. Better ‘executive’ values not far away.
Windy and very wet
It rained heavily the night before and the course was saturated on most holes, especially before and around the greens. There was water pooling in many areas of the course and it did not allow for accurate scoring.
Unfortunately bad day for golfing here today.
There were no power carts allowed on the course. If I had known it was this bad, I would have asked for a rain check.
Putting like Molasses on the moon
Greens are too slow and could use signs to remind golfers to repair ball marks.
But I realize this is popular for novices then ok .
Rolling hills classic
Rolling hills Classic is a fair par 3/4. The conditions were toasty with a bit of a breeze. Greens were a little slow. Overall not too shabby. Definitely gunna have to give the challenge a go!
Great value
Nice flat easy to walk and play. Little wait on some novice golfers but good value. Thanks for the memories playing with my son.
Lives the course; only 1 outhouse
We took a 10 mi Ute break to use the washroom and came back to the course in front of another foursome. They were upset that we jumped the cue. However, only 1 portable toilet hidden by trees before 10th tee. Otherwise the course is great for beginners which my daughter and a friend were. Will play again
Amazing Day for Golf
Outside of being told that the kitchen was opened and having us licking our lips in anticipation of a delicious roast beef au juice sandwhich at the end of our day of golfing only to find out that the 2 seperate employees were incorrect ... dampened the glow of the day
