Not Bear Creek
The course is coming back slowly now the problem is the course layout has changed and signage for tee blocks is poor. Other than that it was good to see the course being looked after
Great course for a bit of a challenge
It was my first time playing Willow Tree and I will definitely be returning. It was an awesome course and more challenging than I thought. Being new to golf, it put me through my paces.
New Ownership
This use to be Bear Creek golf but it’s now called willow tree. It’s still in rough shape however they are putting in the effort to improve there current issues. Staff and owner were great people very challenging course with the lay out which made it fun. I would go back just not so soon after a rainstorm. Lots of mosquitos.
Not Bear Creek
This is another course that is coming back. It was allowed to go to pot but is coming back with a vengence. It needs a bit of pruning but with all that is being done to reemerge the course that is acceptable. It still has some rough spots but that could be because I just played it after a torrential rainfall. Will surely be playing here again
Decent value
For the money the course is a decent value. $34.00 + tax included cart through Golf Now. They are working hard to bring the course back after years of neglect but it’s a slow process. The bunkers are in poor shape and the greens need work. The fairways are ok. This course is short but can be a ball gobbler if you are off your game. Due to the new seniors condos that were built they had to alter the course, shoehorning in a short par 3 and altering a big dogleg par 5 into a 240 yard par 4. This kept the course at 18 holes but ultimately is a detriment to the overall design.
Very nice course
In rough shape. I knew this going in. Lots of work going on and off the course. It will be very nice once the work is completed. Definitely challenging. Used to be called bear creek and thf creek comes into play often, multiple times on some holes.
Some greens are ok, most need to heal. Bunkers not so much sand as mud.
It's gonna be a beauty.
Staff was great. I got in for 35 with a cart.. about the right price for current conditions.
In serious need of improvement
I used to enjoy this course and it could be a great one, but it needs a lot of work. The ground is so rough, it jarred my insides and the ground was hard and not cared for. The routing seems to have been changed, as my Garmin watch did not reflect the new yardages at all. It's a tight course and could be a joy to play. I hope to one day recommend it!
