Poplars Golf Club
The course is in good shape given the extremely dry weather we have experienced. Some of the fairways are bare in spots but overall the greens were in great shape and the fairways average. Changes in topography make the course more challenging but the layout leaves a bit to be desired as there are some blind spots that could cause some harm to unsuspecting golfers. Overall very nice course and I will be going back.
Poplars Tweed ont
Course is in good shape . Blackflies are hungry lol. Staff very pleasant . Greens were slow and rough is deep . Early in the year though. Would recommend and will play it again soon
Challenging, well groomed course.
Nice course layout with well maintained fairways and greens. Challenging but not too difficult for all levels of golfer.
Some of the fairways were "rough" Needed to be cut
Some greens had damage (dirt areas)
There was a bright orange pylon in the center of the fairway guarding a hole in the ground.
Tee Box grass was pretty long. Greens were slow.
Must play again
On arrival staff very helpful with getting organized and explaining course layout. There is a lot of holes where the green is hidden from 150 yds out so if its your first time out its really confusing . I would certainly play this course again.
Fairways are not cut and greens have considerbale damage. Course is quiet so you can easily get through a round in a few hours with a cart. Layout is poor.
Great little know course
Poplars was a great course to golf at. There wasn't many people on the course so you were able to play at your pace. I did not see the group in front or behind me. The course was well kept, the layout is a little confusing. Staff were very friendly.
