Golf Advisor: Top Courses in Canada (2015 #13)
Reviews
Great course, in good condition. I would play it again if I was in the area.
First time playing this course. It requires accuracy off the tee to avoid trouble. Well maintained and interesting holes. Greens were in excellent shape and their speed was good. Overall a great experience and real value for the money when booked through golfnow.com
Great course
very nice course but must take a cart, it's long and some distance between holes.
excellent course!
Great course. Well maintained. Worth checking out!
Great Course
Very well kept, challenging course. You definitely want to get a cart as it is very hilly.
Course is in excellent shape for late in the seaason
The course in well maintained, and very scenic in its layout.
Rural setting, peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff and challenging course.
Highly recommend this course. Conditions were great all summer long. A good test of your golf skills.
Try it - you'll like it!
Rivendell is ALWAYS in geat shape - hats off to the grounds crew. This course offers a great mix of challenging and tough holes. A hidden gem to be sure. The staff are second to none in accommodating your every need. I would highly recommend it and plan on becoming a member next year.
This course is in great shape
This was the third time I have played this course and everytime it is better then the last. The course is always in great shape. It is a good test of ability for golfers of all skill leavels. This course is a lot of fun to play, with many elevated tees and greens you will be challanged from the 1st tee to the 18th.
Natural terrain of this course is very appealing
Well maintained course with lots of interesting features and challenging slopes. Good for intermediate or higher level of skill.
Got a great deal on GolfNow for this course.
The course is always in very good condition. Playing from the tips was a challenge (7 handicap) but fun. Fairways and rough were lush, this was a very dry summer and the course was kept green. The greens could be a little quicker. Overall an excellent value.
Great course
Walked it but can be challenging for some. Long walk to blue tees
Hidden Gem
Given this very dry summer we were extremely surprised at the excellent condition to whole course was in. The staff are very friendly and the food is fantastic.
The course was in great shape given the lack of rain and the greens were excellent. Quite picturesque with great view from several tee boxes.
The staff were very friendly and helpful as this was my first visit. The marshall kept the pace of play to the point where there were no undue delays. Given the dry summer conditions the fairways and greens were in great condition and was in the best shape of any of the courses that I played this summer. The only negative is the lack of driving range and the net that is available is not easily accessible from the clubhouse. Overall I had a great day and would highly recommend this course, especially for the price.
great fairways
Great course for Kingston area. Big par fives, and some creative holes.
