Great day
I golfed this morning at Salt Creek and although it was a bit misty to start with, the sun came out and it turned out to be a great day for golf. The pace was excellent, the course not too crowded yet and was done my 18 in just a little over 2 hours. Will be going there again several times this summer I think!
Great Par 3 for a quick game
Great Layout and variety for a par 65. Took excellent advantage of the winding creek through the hilly terrain. Great challenging par 3 holes and moderate par 4s. Some challenging sloped greens. Wonderful course for beginners and average golfers.
Staff VERY friendly.
Have been rained out a couple of times and no problem getting a rain check.
Great course for those who prefer to walk.

Great golf outing
This beautiful course is in great shape and has some spectacular views. Great value for a course tha you will be happy to play alone or with friends.
This course is designed to make you think about club selection, which many courses do not offer. We will continue to play this course and will definitely not hesitate bring friends.
Course in great shape for this time of year. Well maintained with more improvements since last year.
Friendly staff, nice course, not overly long which suited us and our play, cool day so not too busy. We really enjoyed the golf outing.
Fun and challenging
You have to put things in perspective, this not an upscale high cost membership course. That being said it is a well maintained fun but challenging course. The length of fairways are somewhat shorter than normal but there are enough nuances to make them both challenging and fun. The greens are relatively small which adds to the challenge. However the greens are terrific ,they usually are quick and definitely run true, a treat to putt on. The amenities are what you would think that they would be, small bar, sandwiches , hotdogs etc. the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Have played this course the last two years after my course had closed for the season and have enjoyed every round. I highly recommend this course, enjoy it for what it is, it's not Glen Abbey but neither are its green fees.
Salt Creeek Golf Course
Excellent Golf course for the average player. if you want to improve your short game, this is the course,
as accuracy is certainly the key for a good score. Many fairways are tight with trees playing an important role for a safe shot and hazards between T Blocs and greens require a good loft to reach them. Many greens are mounded which allows for no forgiveness unless you land toward the center however, this course will not beat you up but offers some challenging holes.

Great Conditions
Lots of fun. Course was in excellent shape. Layout of course will not be a favourite with everyone because of several peculiar fairway shapes. Many holes are shorter in distance.
Great golfing with grandchildren!
This is a perfect course for those looking for something not too long or too difficult. We have golfed here with two of our grandsons and find the staff to be very friendly and so far no one pushes us along. Makes for a very enjoyable day with the youngsters!
A Fun Golf Course
Really enjoyed playing this course. It's shorter than most so you don't have to waste a whole day playing golf. We went into nearby Campbellford for a lovely lunch after the game and still had energy left for other activities.
Friendly staff
We forgot to bring mosquito repellent and the staff lent us a couple cans just in case we needed it. Had a good time even though it rained pretty hard for an hour or so. They have a nice large covered area behind the clubhouse where you can enjoy a coffee or drink if your round gets delayed by weather.
Hidden Gem!
This course is a hidden gem. Nestled in the country but not hard to find. It is so well cared for. The greens are in excellent shape as well as the tee boxes and the fairways. The views are tremendous and the staff is delightful. I will definitely play this course again. I would recommend it to anyone.
A little different!
If we didn't play with a member we wouldn't have known how to play many holes. Greens are very small and many crowned. Very old style.
Excellent Course
This is an excellent course and a well kept secret. Staff are always friendly and courteous, pace of play is never an issue, and the course is in excellent condition. While the length is shorter (Par 65), the course layout provides sufficient challenges for the average golfer. Always enjoy playing this course.
