Beautiful 9 hole track
Enjoyable round easy to walk and enjoy challenging tricky greens that are in beautiful shape with tree lined fairways . Friendly staff and a chicken parm that's delicious, can't go wrong !¹
Far away but glad we tried it.
Nice course but shame its now only 9 holes.
Enjoyed the day. Pace of play was very good and course conditions good.
As a side note...the butter tarts in the pro shop are excellent!!
Good for a 9 hole course
Only thing lacking is there are no par 5 holes. What they have though is nice fairways and greens, well maintained. I enjoy playing there for a nice relaxing day of golf. Some find it not challenging enough but I sometime like a nice relaxing day of golf so I go to Cedar Glen.
Great shape
Course was in great shape fast greens no many leaves as greens had been cleared. Would go again if weather is good
Great tim as always
As I stated in the title, always a good time when we play Cedar Glen.
The staff is very friendly, and the greens are the best you'll find anywhere is the Ottawa Region.
The course has a few challenging dog legs that will get you into a lot of trouble unless they are played right.
It's a shame that this course doesn't draw more people, if golfers would just travel that extra 10 minutes down the highway they would be in for a great surprise.
Great price to play and an even better experience on the course.
Love this course.
Autum not the best time
To play here..front none is tree lined and leaves make it hard to find your ball in fairway...Back nine was nicedr open and longer. I was to play with 2 golfnow golfers but they seem to be in a rush and left earlier and when I caught them no interet in letting me pass or join them as I was single..Course was bogged down with a tourney.....The greens are small and FAST.fairways were park like grass. a nioce course to practice on.
OK Review
Good course, but needs more attention from the staff. Tees box were not properly identified for distances. Red & whites were often together, but according to the card, were supposed yo be +\_ 30-50 yrds.
Reservation was with cart, but none were available due to a tournament. Had to wait for our cart.
The fees I paid ($25) you can't beat for 18 holes with cart.
Nice staff but the course is in bad shape
The course itself needs a lot of work, especially the fairways.....the greens are ok, sadly I don't think I will play it again even if it was 10$. The quality needs to improve on this course.
This course is well doglegged
Several of the doglegs on this course force you to be accurate or trouble awaits. Fairways and greens were in very nice shape. In many cases hazards parallel fairways calling for careful consideration in shot selection.
Grear Day @ Cedar Glen
Thanks to Denis, Cathy & Staff - we had a great day @ the Glen!
greens are in great shape
great day - great pace of play... got our round in 3 hours... just 2 of us... no waiting... would recommend this course for the price... a great bargain for sure...
Course for all levels
Great Course. OK shape for this time of year. Greens need some work as a result of the harsh winter. Overall, very challenging
This course has a bit of everything
Great course if you don't pay full price. We just played to early in the year and the greens were aerated.
great service and course
we had a great time course in great shape. Hopefully will be able to get out again this year.
Nice Course
Nice course, the greens are really nice and course design is interesting. Course is a good fit for beginners and occasional players.
Course is great shape and plays well.
The course is in great shape and is well maintained. Pace was slow on day of play due to new golfers on the links. Course is highly recommended.
Partial links style with fairly quick greens
The front nine is relatively narrow and well treed but shortish in length. The back nine is links style golf, moderately long with water in play on a few holes. Green speed and condition is well above average for a rural golf course. Leveling of a few tee boxes would bring my rating up. All in all an enjoyable place to play.
