Always a pleasure playing here.
I like this course. It is not overly challenging but provides a fair test of golf. It is quite picturesque. You will often see deer on the course. After a nice round of golf, you can top it off by having a burger and a beer at the Windermere Resort, with a beautiful view overlooking the lake.
Nice Muskoka Course
Nice layout with a mix of difficult and some easy holes. Course was in good shape and the Starter was very friendly
Great day, great course
We had a very enjoyable day. There was a thunderstorm the night before and they had recently aerated the greens. There was minimal roll anywhere on greens or fairways, but the course was great and look forward to returning in more favorable conditions.
Very pretty & challenging
First timer. For a resort course was pleasantly surprised. Interesting holes-well maintained. Fun to play. Will play again. Staff very pleasant.
Great Pro Shop Staff
Old school, good layout. Very pretty and well maintained. Short yet still need to be accurate.
Wonderful environment to be in.

Well maintained course
Great course for your dollar. The course is semi private so it is very well maintained and a pleasure to golf.
A definite challenge on a windy day!
Always enjoy playing at Windemere, a fun & challenging course, play tends to be a bit slow which is expected for cottage golf. A few greens were in rough shape, perhaps they didn't weather the winter well. Overall course was in decent shape. Nice staff , accommodating & friendly. See you next year!
Great conditions. Much improved over last year.
Much improved over prior years. New 17 green and lots of landscaping.
Classic Course
Nice course but it sure would have been nice if they let the carts out, it was not that wet out there. One heck of a long walk. The deal included a cart.....now what?
Well maintained and the flower gardens add to the ambiance.
Well maintained course. Recent heat has affected several greens. Must be prepared for slow play of new golfers especially in the afternoon. Flower gardens are special.
Course is in great condition!
Great Resort course from the blues at 6,200 yds.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We live locally in Bracebridge and it was my first time playing the course, it's definitely a hidden gem with lots of other activities when finishing our round.
Very Accommodating course
We arrived about an hour early and they accommodated us by letting us tee off sooner.
Great Muskoka golf
The course is in perfect shape. There are lots of ways and places to get yourself in trouble, but there's nothing unfair about the course - you have to seek the trouble out. Some confusion about where the next tee is after a few holes, but good signage. No course map provided, even on the signs at the hole, but again, no surprises, no blind shots, no "I didn't know there was a pond there!" kinds of things, so pack better excuses in your bag and enjoy!
very nice layout
I was very pleased with the condition of the course. The elevation changes make for some blind shots, but that is what makes it interesting. There are enough hazards to keep you on your toes without beating you up too badly. enjoyed my round and will go back again.
Fun cottage country course. Short with largish fairways.
Fun short course. Our experienced suffered from the rain that we have experienced over the last month. Several holes were almost underwater. Not the fault of the course staff.
Nic e to see where Stanley Tompson started
Rustic rural excellent use of land, and some very picturesque views.Very playable from all tees.Bit of a drive but well worth it.
We'll come back year after year.
This course has matured beautifully over the years that we have played. It is a favourite whenever we are in the Muskokas. The golf pro and front staff are great. Highly recommended spring, summer and fall.
The course is well designed with good challenges
Overall the course was a good course to play. it wasn't too busy. I liked the greens as they were consistent. Unfortunately there were two greens unplayable as they were being completely rebuilt.
Nice course overall, not too long or difficult especially for women.
Not too long for ladies, beautful cottage country scenery, fairways well maintained but some greens appear to have disease.
Nice course but greens a little slow
This was an excellent hot deal..course wasn't long and the greens a little slow but otherwise a fun day on the couse. Played in less than 4 hrs which was a bonus.
