A taste of Scotland on Canada's Prince Edward Island

Of course, there's nothing links-like about Andersons Creek except the theme of the place. It doesn't play firm-and-fast like a links, and there's no ocean view or sandy dunes. But the bagpiper that greeted my group on the 10th tee box with music and a shot of whiskey was a nice touch when I played here about eight years ago. The course celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2013 and boasts of having the best greens on PEI. There are some demanding holes and scenic ones, too. That's the beauty of playing in rural Canada. There's more Mother Nature than human distractions. It's one of my favorite tracks on the island.
