Solid Course
Was reading reviews from others on GolfNow and we must have played two different courses because I had an amazing experience. Just moved here from Scottsdale so i don’t have any expectations when trying new courses. Dallas just had an extreme month or so of rain and bad weather and the course is in as good of shape as you could expect. Par 4’s are drivable on some holes. It’s by no means the nicest course I’ve ever played but for the metroplex it’s definitely on the nicer end than most other courses. Not the hardest but definitely not the easiest course either. 6.7/10 also some holes with elevation which is nice, most of the courses here are flat. My green fee was 75 I’m not sure why other people were saying it’s 125. Probably played the weekend. Overall good course will come back for sure.
Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round! We look forward to seeing you again soon at Coyote Ridge Golf Club.
Best, But……
Best conditioned semi-private course in the DFW metroplex WITHOUT a marshal. Come on management, you’ve got a gem of a course in solid condition but you’re wasting the opportunity by not paying for marshal services. Oh wait, marshal services can be obtained in exchange for playing privileges when not working. So effectively they can be placed on the course for zero dollars! I don’t understand why you allow slow play, fivesomes, ball searches that go on forever, tee box parking lots, etc. Makes me sad, but we won’t be back until I see a cart with a marshal sign patrolling the course moving everyone along.
Hi, we appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing Coyote Ridge Golf Club.
Great layout, pace of play, some greens could be improved
Overall, I enjoyed playing here. Challenging layout and tees for all handicaps. They had recently aerated, so some greens had not fully grown in yet, so had to putt through the punch marks. Most of the bunkers didn’t have sand and were played as GUR. The ones that were renovated were in great shape, so it’s promising.
Mid-season form this will be a solid course to play. I’m looking forward to returning.
Hello, Nick4223065. Thanks so much for your review. We appreciate your feedback, and we hope to see you again soon at Coyote Ridge Golf Club.
I don’t think so!
For $109 plus fees, I don’t think so! Starting with the grumpy guy checking us in, no coffee available at 8:30am in the restaurant, and then being stacked up from the second tee on. No. Any Marshall? No. Beautiful course in great condition, but I don’t think so!
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Coyote Ridge Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Best course I played while visiting the area!
I was in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and played several courses in the same price range. This course was by far the best maintained. Many of the holes had unique features but the 7th hole was my favorite.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. Your feedback is valuable, and we look forward to delivering you excellent service again soon. Coyote Ridge Golf Club thanks you!
This was a great course to play!
First time to ever play at this course. It was challenging to play. the staff was extremely friendly and there to assist. I will definitely play at this course again.
Thank you for your review. We will pass along your positive experience to our team at Coyote Ridge Golf Club. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Great course!
The course was in great shape. The greens were recently aerated but played pretty true. Great course and clubhouse.
Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Coyote Ridge Golf Club.
Course too expensive for mar it is
Bunkers under construction at 8 of the 18 holes. Roughly 10 of the greens are in poor shape. This is a $50 course that they are charging $105 for.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Coyote Ridge Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Not great
Low money value. Good course but too expensive for what it offers.

Punched!!!
This course is way to expensive for their conditions. A lot of bunkers under repair, some tee boxes were literally dirt and the course doesn’t bother letting their golfers know that the greens are punched before they pay their $118 weekend green fee. I understand about they have to punch greens. I just would not pay full, especially $120 full price, if I would have known that. Won’t be back for a long while.
Hi, we appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We understand your frustration with the current course conditions. Please bear with us as we work diligently to make improvements. We hope you'll give us another try in the future.
Not ready
Very disappointed that the price on GolfNow and what the course charged was not reflective of the course. A weekday afternoon time at a premium price (for Dallas) suggests a course in good shape..not so much. The greens were punched, the tee boxes were sandy and punched. Lots of bald areas around cart paths and greens. NO where near worth the cost. Changes are being made by new owners, most in the positive direction. But I would give this place a year before trying again. Sadly disappointed!

S L O W
Ever since Sam Moon sold this course the conditions have deteriorated quite noticeably. The one thing that has not changed is if you play on a weekend count on a 5-hour round of golf. It is pathetic that they have the very first hole cart path only even when it's bone dry. Along with the other holes that are cart path only with absolutely no need to be cart path only.

Too expensive while renovating.
They jumped the price from around $60-$80 to $108. It’s definitely not a $108 fee course. It’s probably worth $80 when it’s in good shape, however they’re redoing all the bunkers right now. They definitely shouldn’t be charging a full rate while all of that is going on. The new owners are a little too proud of the course IMO, which is sad bc I liked playing there.

Poor condition
Played the course for the first time, the front 9 was ok but the back 9 in some places was in terrible condition, quite a few bunkers with no sand, and no carts in some fairways. In my opinion the cost of the round should be discounted while the course is the way it is. Needless to say, not very busy.
I wouldn’t play this course again.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. We hope you give us another try in the near future!
Beautiful, Challenging Course in DFW
First time playing and though I am new to the area this was the best overall golf experience I've had in DFW. Range and practice facilities were in great shape, The course overall was challenging but very enjoyable. No gimmick holes. I continue to try different public courses in DFW but for now this is the first course I'd recommend to anyone looking for a great golf experience in Dallas.
Thank you for your review. We will pass along your positive experience and feedback to our team at Coyote Ridge Golf Club. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Pace of play
It could be because this course is so popular and well maintained but the pace of play is a tad slower than other courses.
Very fun course. Can’t wait to go again
Thank you for your review. We will pass along your positive experience and feedback to our team at Coyote Ridge Golf Club. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Not worth your money
Course is in bad shape. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, greens all in bad shape. Many bunkers have no sand - just gravel. Fairways are in poor shape. Not worth your money
Hello, thank you for taking the time to review us, and for the 3 stars. We're sorry to hear the course may not have been in the best shape on the day of your round. We appreciate your feedback as we work to make any necessary improvements. Thank you for choosing to golf with us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon at Coyote Ridge Golf Club.
Read the reviews!
First, I should’ve heeded the reviews. Traps are being reconstructed with gravel beds with some kind of hard epoxy. Ought to be interesting when top sand erodes away and gets thin.
Second, post carts only before we buy! Would’ve been nice to know before spending $60
Lastly, odd back 9 next to the landfill. Layout is just odd
