Great value and very scenic. I was late and the pro-shop fit me in right away, very friendly and accomodating. Course is in great shape, nice greens and some amazing views. I will go back!
The course is appealing
The course was in splendid condition. Fairways are great and greens were fast. The layout is quite varied and presents challenges everywhere.

The course is in great shape. The greens were smooth and ran true. Fairways were in good shape and rough was lush and thick. Bunkers were a little damp from the recent rain but were drying rapidly.
Hidden gem in the Gatineau Hills

Good value for the money...
I live in Ottawa and it's a good 90 minutes to get to the course. Was it worth the drive? Yes, I'd say so.
The course is not especially long, nor tight nor heavily bunkered. But if you're off on your long game, you can easily make a big score because the course makes excellent use of elevation changes, uneven lies in the fairway, doglegs and strategically placed hazards. Furthermore, the design not only creates interesting golf, but also some beautifully framed holes with the mountain as a backdrop.
VARIETY IS WHAT THIS COURSE HAS
THIS COURSE IS QUICKLY BECOMING MY FAVOURITE. HILLY FRONT NINE, WATERY BACK NINE. COURSE STAFF IS SUPERB, BOTH CLUB HOUSE AND GROUNDS. IT'S MY GO TO RIGHT NOW.
Tough but Fun
I have to say, I did not score my best round at this course. It is a difficult course to play. The front 9 is very hilly, offering challenges and a lot of thought process to manipulate the course. The back 9 was just as challenging as every hole played with water.
The drive up from Ottawa was not as bad as we thought, yet the signage for the course could be better. There was no sign for the laneway to drive into the club house and parking lot and it is covered by trees. Just Sayin'
Beautiful scenery, but too wet and needs maintenance!
The course has beautiful surroundings and it's too bad it hasn't had enough support to allow it to be maintained properly. This seems to be typical of courses outside of the city that require a long drive...it's about an hour from Ottawa.
If I were going to go again I would definitely wait until July when the course dries out and perhaps the maintenance had improved.
Early and Wet
Great deal on golf now was what made the hou and 15 min drive worth it. Its early and the course was a bit wet. fairways hadnt been cut. greens were good. Would definately go back for the price we got.

This is always an interesting course to play. It is some distance from Ottawa but very much worth the drive. The staff is very friendly and most helpful. I highly recommend this course.
