Great Carrick Design
La Bête at Gray Rocks Resort is a great Doug Carrick Design. The front nine has many elevation changes that are picturesque. The back nine from the Blue tees is very challenging, you have to hit the ball in the right spot to have a chance at making par. This is not a walking course. I would have two suggestions to make: 1) The fairway bunkers need to be improved or taken out as they are nothing but clay. 2) As the tees and greens are elevated, you have to be part billy goat. I would suggest that stairs be put in to difficult to reach tees. Otherwise, this course was a joy to play and would play it again and again!
We love this course
We love the views, the layout and the fun.
Numbers 9 & 18 are too difficult for our ability, but the course is still our favourite in the Mt Tremblant area!

Beautiful Course!
This was the first time to La Bête. The layout was awesome. The course was in in great shape. And the greens were perfect!
We’ll be back, definitely.
Course was great!
Was lucky, course was quiet. Round went smoothly. Great views. Course was in very good shape.
Lovely course
Great condition considering all the rain we've been getting. Views don't disappoint! Was quiet so our round was enjoyable.
Beautiful course in excellent condition. Friendly staff.
Tough course
The course won today. I prefer the back 9 to the front. The front has some interesting holes that require you to make some club decisions. The course is certainly scenic and the fall colours were beautiful
Encore un décor enchanteur
Le décor et l'environnement est toujours bucolique.
La qualité des allées a diminué et les verts ne sont pas top niveau.
My new golf stop in Mont Tremblant !
Great course, fairway conditions were great, nice elevations, par 3s are magnificient !
Can't wait to go back !
Premium price no longer justified.
1. No marshals controlling pace of play. I gave up after 13th hole.
2. Hole #2 a joke/insult. Completely overgrown. Tee was on a 3' wide piece of beaten up artificial turf.
3. No on-course food or beverage service on hot July day.
4. Zero accommodation for golfer who woke up sick on day of round.
I would no longer recommend La Bete until 2nd hole fixed or price reduced to reflect degraded condition. Too many higher quality, comparably or lower priced alternatives.
Over priced for conditions
This course had significant damage due to a recent storm....we should not have been charged full value to play when conditions of cart paths and fairways were compromised.
The staff were excellent, very helpful and service oriented.
La Bete Overview
There was a lot of winter kill on the fairways and greens.
There was also a lot of construction work going on around the course and hole #2 was reduced to a par 3 for construction purposes.
The staff was new just being trained to run the cash registers!
The sandwiches were poor quality
Price for the round was excessive for the conditions and should have been about half what we were charged.
Canam Golf offered the wound for $10 less than GolfNiow as well, still too much.
Amazing staff, golf starter super happy
Was impressed with the friendliness of staff and the starter was a great happy guy. Course is challenging, but we were fine with a 14 and 10 year old.
Sorry I referenced the wrong designer. It is a Graham Cooke design. It is a great course!
