I wish they had a practice range
Its your basic muni course. It was a busy day and the tee times got backed up by about 15 minutes, but once we were off and running, there weren't too many slow downs.
The greens are very Donald Ross-esque, - turtleback, upside down saucers, that will send an off the mark shot right off of the green, and combined with the wind that day, it was a challenge. They really need a driving range to warm up at prior to the round
Good public course
This course always seems to be busy. Green fees are reasonable at around $30with cart. The course layout is fun and challenging on some holes. I don’t understand why the courses here are not overseeding like other southern state areas. Playing off of dormant Bermuda is not the most fun. The greens here were in pretty good shape. The staff was friendly. Pace of play was a little slow but we finished in just shy of 4 1/2 hours.
33 years since I picked up a golf club
Excellent course excellent staff great job, I'll be back.
Course looks great! Keep it up!
Over all good course and in great shape. Where's the drink cart? Would be nice if drink cart was out earlier.
First Time
First time in Corpus Christie, played here on the senior rate. Very nice old course in great shape. The grass was, I thought, very good for this time of year. Greens were slower but true. Maintenance was on going to fix up the spots that didn't survive Harvey (?). We walked in under 4 hours on a cooler overcast day.
Decent course
Not bad for a muni. Greens were ok but some were a little bumpy. Fairways are good for south Texas. No beverage cart on a hot Saturday and the city's water was bad so they couldn't put out coolers. There was a 5 some in front of us who were playing very slow but no Marshall presence to hurry them along or split them up.
Good Course, Great Value
This is a good challenge with the windy conditions in the Corpus Chrsti. The value is unbeatable, best you will get in the area. The customer service is second to none.
Friendly People
Nice course, get's real busy to the point your bottlenecked bad on weekends. The staff are great and always willing to help.
