Jackfish Lodge Golf and Conference Centre

With it's location along the windswept shores of Jackfish Lake, it is fair to say that you can expect those winds will play havoc with any poorly struck shots. My hats off to whomever laid out this course as they did a fantastic job of utilizing most of the available slopes to plant many of the greens on. There are plenty of greens that have either a false front or slopes that quickly fall away to punish any approach not finding the middle of the green. Water hazards are non-existent but there are a few bunkers scattered throughout the course that you shouldn't ignore. The pro shop is well stocked, a spacious clubhouse, friendly staff and a comprehensive menu available in the restaurant makes Jackfish Lodge a worthwhile stop.

A different type of course

Great views of Jackfish Lake from many holes. Corse has an unusual variety of holes. Check the hole diagram before teeing off. For a provincial park golf course you can't go wrong. Camp in the park and stay a few days, you'll enjoy yourself.
