Indian Shores Golf Course

I got my first Eagle ever here so it will always be my fav course.its well kept,groomed and the greens are fast.only problem is there is no water to drink. #EasyFix

Greens were great no sand traps
Easy course job

Last time I played here was in 2014 and the greens was awful it was Brown and Sandy today the greens are in very good conditions and the peace of play was terrific.

Gates were locked, no one ever let us in. Golfnow still charged me the convenience fee though... I’m assuming maybe someone didn’t show up to work?

I enjoy the pace of play here. Greens were better than in the past. Fairways & Tee boxes need lower grass cutting. Pro Shop Old Dude was grumpy, but didn’t argue about price this time & gave me a bottle of water. I’ll be back.

9 HOLES BUT GREENS ARE NOT EASY . SMALL AND TRICKEY. HAD TO STOP PLAY FOR 5 MIN. DUE TO 4 DEER ON THE FAIRWAY ON #8 HOLE.

The shop worker was much friendlier than previous personnel there. The value for playing 9x2 was okay. The pace was unobstructed with other golfers, but the Bees, Red Wasps & Horse Flies were a major problem. I thought several times that I might have to quit due to bugs biting & chasing me. I like playing here, but will probably delay my next trip due to the Pests on site. Not much they can do about it, but it was a problem for me.

The course is about what you’d expect for the money. The greens were Very sandy and the fairways were bumpy, but I really liked the pace of play. The cart’s brakes remind me of Fred Flintstone’s car, you almost have to use your feet to stop it. Even with the negatives, I like to play here & it’s not usually crowded.

Arrived at 10 AM course looked deserted. Pro shop in a mobile home. Carts ok but old. Fairways very bumpy but nice roll. Greens hard to hold, small and fast. Garbage along every hole. Played nine in 55 minutes.

Directions to the course took me to a dead end street. Hot deal description said 18 holes, but when I finally arrived I was told only 9. For $5.00 I guess I should have known. Since there were only 4 people on the course pace of play was what ever you wanted it to be. Fairways and greens were good. There is a lake to the left of one of the greens that was RED. Other reviews indicated that there was no drinking water on the course, maybe that explains it. Interesting round.

We enjoyed the course play & it was in pretty good shape. I do hope that one day the staff will have Water on the course.The gentleman that took the fee didn’t offer us any water when I asked about the availabllity. Don’t go to play without your own drinks.

Great place to go play golf! Pace of play is amazing! Can't beat it for the price!

Course was in decent shape, especially after Harvey floods. Some of the tee boxes need a little attention & the carts were very dirty. Never any water on the course, but the unhappy worker at the register will allow you to grab some from the cooler, if you ask. None of that will keep me from returning to play again. Enjoyed the pace of play.

I was pleasantly surprised by this nice 9 hole course. It has four sets of tees to choose from. So you could play twice and choose a different tee for the second nine. I only played 9 holes because I got too hot.
The staff was very friendly and offered me doughnuts and coffee. I will definitely return and try it again.

Even though it's a 9 hole you play twice still a great course. Course was in great shape and the Staff could not have been nicer! We will definitely be back!

A wonderful 9 holes of golf. Nice layout and in great shape. Small greens but putted true.

Booked a 'hot deal' and went to play for the first time. Course was great with greens in excellent condition. Had a good round with my daughter. Lot of holes were scenic with the thick of trees in the background. Will definitely go to play there again.

Had to argue with staff in order for him to honor the Golf Now price. Online, the price was $12 p/p. When we got there for our 8:20 tee time, the guy wanted to charge us $20 p/p. After arguing about the price, he even showed us the price board on the wall stating that the regular price was $15 all day. When he realized that didn't exactly help his argument, he then acted as though he would do us a favor and only charge the $12 price after all. That's all we asked for all along!
Not sure why there has never been water at the water stations on the course any of the three times I've played there. However, when he was asked, he did say that we could take bottled water from the cooler in the club house for free.
Recommendation: If you book a Golf Now price, just be ready to show proof to staff to avoid confusion.

Price was right! We enjoyed the course, except there was no water at either station & we didn't bring enough. Will be back!
