MAYBE OK in better weather
First of all, I played on a cold, windy day early in the golf season. It had rained the prior day, so the course was wet and cart path only. The course conditions were not good, but it may have PARTIALLY been the fault of Mother Nature. It looks like not much is spent on course maintenance, since cart paths were bad, greens were bad, and it was not a very playable course. Also, the fact that it has been open for over 10 years and still has no clubhouse and other amenities says to me not to play there again. It may be a decent course in better parts of the year, but I will never know. At least it was cheap
Great course
More challenging than I thought it would be, lakes and ponds all over the course but beautiful place to play.
fast Greens
Course was in good condition, the greens were fast
Friendly front staff, Rude starter
As usual, the front desk was friendly which I can appreciate more. However the starter guy (taller one) was rude. He needs to get traing in communication skills. The course was a little crowded which was understandably thanks to unseasonably fine weather. Overall I had a great time.
Friendly staff, reasonable green fee
The reception desk staff is very friendly which is one reason why I come to this course quite far away from my place. Also, the green fee is relatively reasonable. What I specially like about this course is the wide-open layout which somewhat resembles the Scotish Open courses.
Battlefield never disappoints
Some look down on this course because it has a dirt & gravel driveway and parking lot, and yeah, no clubhouse. But bring your "A" game because you're going to need it on much of the course. Very well maintained. Greens are wonderful although this late in the season they are running fast. They have been adding sand in the bunkers.
If you don't enjoy this course, it will be because the weather didn't treat you right, not because of the course.....
Great features
