First time golfing Silver. Brooke
Good course, nice variety of holes and layouts. Will return and play again
Course was good playing partners were terrible
It was a beautiful day out weather wise and would have been perfect except for two of the people I had the misfortune to play with
Two guys would nit shut up, it didn’t matter if you were teeing off or putting!
I asked them to please quiet down more than once but they didn’t seem to care about anyone but themselves
Silver Brook
The course was in very good condition. Unfortunately the course had frost in the morning so all the time where delayed by a hour. They did there best to get everyone going.
Poorly Marshalled
Course was good as far as condition but many holes cause you to wait for people to hit on other tees. Causes back up quite frequently.
Understandably playing on weekends we expect a busier course but were addressed by the Marshall after 11 holes and his response was “the group in front of you needs to be quicker and you need to be quicker”…..
Not sure how our group can be quicker if we’re on the heels of the group in front of us.
We didn’t see him again (even though the group he warned in front of us continued to hold up the round) until we arrived on 18 where we saw him hanging out with the starter.
My wife and I will not be returning to this course.
The WORST golf experience of my life
We got called back from the first tee because the pro shop said they under charged us for a cart. The delay got us behind a 4 some with beginner players playing from the tips (young guys…go figure)..no marshal and no respect, they did not allow my wife and I to play thru…3 hours for the front 9. The back nine surprisingly got worse …3 guys cut in on us at the 13 tee…we waited 30 mins there to tee up…absolutely a joke. No Marshall….we quit after the 13th hole because of this…I have been playing golf for 50 years all over the world. This experience rates as the worst ever…and I’ve had some bad ones. Silver Brooke needs to take charge and police the disrespectful folks they allow on their property…all tolled the day cost $130….not worth $1.30 in my opinion
Signed
Extremely disappointed
Better Than You Think
I live in the area and play this course usually 7 to 8 times a year. Given the extreme drought we have experienced this summer, I applaud the grounds keeping staff with be able to keep this hidden gem in near pristine condition.
The fairways and green were immaculate!
I have a hard time saying anything positive about Silber Brooke because I just don't want too many others to find out and ruin it. Alas, to be honest, Silver Brooke - Dollar for dollar - is without a doubt the best course in the area.
Needs a Marshall, and a pro who understands golf course management
Every good golfer know course management is everything. Unfortunately there is none at this course. Pace of play is extremely slow, and the pro is anything g but professional. He tends to blow off customer opnions while stilling behind his big desk feeling important.a A Marshall would greatly improve the overall experience of this course. Until then, there are plenty other courses around where I can take my business and have a more enjoyable game.
Nice course
Front nine seems like a completely different course from the back nine but it’s a nice way to break up the round. Conditions were good and the layout was nice.
Fair
Overall a nice course, fairly open but with some challenging holes mixed in. Fairly priced for the course and area. Staff has been friendly and helpful whenever I have played there.
