Golf Advisor: Top Courses in Nevada
I was surprised at how beautiful the fairways and greens could be, in November, in a desert. We enjoyed our round and were impressed with the beautiful views. Great day of golf and very friendly staff.
Really great golf!
I’ve played here several times and always have had a great time. I got paired up with a couple other guys and we had a great time. The one guy I think works there part time and he was such a nice kid. He could really swing those clubs. We had a couple good laughs. The conditions were superb. Greens great. The other guy and I kept blowing it past the hole. Nobody got upset. Just a great day. The young guy rightly predicted big winds about halfway through the round. So it was trying to also adjust for that. Don’t pass up on this course. It’s one of the nicest places you’ll play around Vegas. And priced fair.
Very Pleasantly Surprised
Played this course for the first time today. Staff couldn't have been any friendlier. Paired with a local who helped with his local knowledge. Course was in superb condition. Greens ran true and ball St up nicely in the fairways. Bunkers were raked and full of sand. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Boulder Creek. You won't regret it. Great value and golfing experience.
regretfully we couldn’t replay more than 9 as the winds were 25-35 gusts and miserable
lived here a year and wanted to play it with friends and we had to quit as it was horrible wind conditions
staff and course outstanding and we would play again wish we could a voucher for nine holes to play another day/ or partial credit
Course very fair for both high and low handicappers.
Tee boxes, fairways and greens in great condition.
Greens multilevelled, undulating challenging, not slow nor super fast.
Pace of play was excellent, finished round in 3:50 minutes, but be fair there was 2 family group 4 somes in front of us that let our 2 some play through.
Played the Desert Hawk and El Dotado.
Would play this 3 nine hole next time.
Decent course but nothing spectacular
Playable course with some nice holes. Started early, so pace of play was very good. Also decent clubhouse.
Best value in the state
I have played boulder creek over 25 times in the past year. It is by far the best golf value in the state. It has three different nines, four sets of tees and a giant driving range. I usually get out there for $25 to $35 with promo codes. I highly recommend this course to anyone.
I cannot believe the 4 and 5 star reviews! This place is terrible!
I played here because of all the 4 and 5 star reviews. From our arrival I knew it was a mistake. Gold carts that are 15 years old, greens in terrible shape, nothing is kept up. This place was honestly terrible I would play a course closer to the strip- the drive and overall conditions were just not worth it at all.
Got hooked up with some great people
Golf course very picturesque. Great place. Only downer was the clubs I rented. Bring your own.
Played Coyote Run and Eldorado on 07/21 and the conditions were amazing!!!
Upon arrival, the cart guys come and pick your clubs up then offered some range balls to warm up with. Club house staff is friendly and after paying your green fees, there is an option to pay an extra $10 to play Boulder City Golf Course within 2 weeks for free. That's a good deal.
Breakfast burritos were $6 and pretty tasty.
There are three 9 hole courses Coyote Run, El Dorado and Desert Hawk. We played Coyote Run first then El Dorado.
Both courses were in amazing condition! The fairways were so perfect that it almost looked as if no one had played in a while. The rough was tall and stops the ball if you roll off the fairway. Pretty deep and easily swallows the ball if you hit it in there.
The sand traps were pristine. There are plenty of dirt hazards on the side that you can hit your ball into and because of the rocks, chew up the ball and the club so be careful.
The greens are well protected by sand traps so bring your sand wedge with you. On hole 14, there are bee hives in the trap so I just picked up because I didn't want to get stung.
The greens were in great shape and free of divot damage.
The carts were good, good GPS that gives you the distance to the green and hole. Also provides you with tips for the hole.
About the only bad thing I have to say about this course is that the holes are hard to find at times because there are lots of different forks in the path and you have to guess which way to go.
The pace was just under 4 hours and definitely a must play. I can't wait to go back.
Best course for $55
Bad weather the night before. I arrived at 5:30 AM (6:30 tee time) everything was still wet from the rain. There was a large group of 40 at 6:00AM but they let me go ahead of the group! Course is in great shape!
Never had a bad day here. Course is great shape always. Just sucks they don’t include range balls with the GolfNow. Most places do. Either way great place to play
A good challenge
Played on a very windy day. Greens on 2nd nine were not as well maintained as the front. Overall a good layout especially if looking for a course over 7000 yards.
It was a Windy Day, but the fairways are wide and the course was in great shape.
