Well maintained friendly fun course
I enjoyed Silverstone. While I'm a fairly high handicapper at 24, I liked the course the friendly staff and the well maintained tee boxes and greens. The fairways weren't in as good a shape, but they are likely being careful with water usage.
First Time Visitor
My wife and I played 18 holes. We were very happy with the condition of the course, the pace of play, and the service. We definitely will play there again when we visit Las Vegas
Beautiful course and facilities
Had a good time golfing and the staff was excellent. Greens were not in the best of shape. Nice lay out and we had a fun time. I would golf it again.
Silverstone Scores
Great time at Silverstone; perfect day for golf at 71 degrees. The course was very well designed and put together. 30 minutes from the strip, but well worth the drive.
Desert and Valley
My friend and I played the Desert and Valley 9's. There is a Mountain 9 for us the next time we visit. The starter was great and got us off early, allowing us to finish with plenty of daylight. The course is in great condition for the season. Certainly cannot complain about anything. Lived up to its reviews.
My favorite place, smile just thinking of it!
This was the first course I ever went to and will always be my favorite! The staff are very attentive, polite, and have enjoy seeing them each time and they remember you! I am not very knowledgeable about the actual condition but as a new golfer, they were very nice and accommodating to a beginner or a pro. For awhile it was a little bit rough with the cart situation, but now they have all brand new carts with working GPS! I would recommend it to everyone and bet you will enjoy it!
great place to play
Golfer friendly course. Ample landing areas off the tee. You have to play the longest hole in the county. Staff is fantastic.
Nice resort course plays friendlier than it looks
Great course for the money. Lives up to other good reviews
Fun course, yet challenging!!
Have played here before and thoroughly enjoyed the round. Played the Valley and Mountain courses. You will be rewarded if you focus on hitting fairways off the tee...
needs some tlc on the course
Staff was great, but the course needs some tlc around and on the greens. Not at all one of the courses I'd recommend to my friends. The one thing that was great besides the cart girl was that it only took 3:15 minutes to play.
overbooked again
Overbooked again , waiting at every tee box , carts with no brakes , and they could care less. Never again ! Very poorly managed.
2 for 1 silverstone
Great for the price a 2 for 1 play. Weather was not good really windy but the course was good.
Silverstone Golf 'Club
We played 18 holes. I think this is a good/great course, but the grass was too long in the fairways and the conditions of the greens were a little below average compared to the Badlands, Boulder Creek. The views were amazing. All the staff were very friendly and answered all questions. The Chicken Caesar wrap was to die for.
Surprised How Great This Course Was
Having read several negative reviews after booking a tee time I was a little worried. When I arrived at the course I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the entire facility was. Excellent course to play. 4 sets of tees for all levels of golfer. The fairways were wonderful. The greens were not flawless, but very good condition. Great pace of play- 18 holes in under 4 hours. Really enjoyed the course as well as the libations we had in the restaurant after our round. Will definitely return to play again.
Phenomenal day for mid December
I've played here dozens of times. But, Saturday's are usually stacked up, and December sometimes shows a course in less than desirable conditions. However, the pace of play was excellent, and the conditions of the course were like peak season. Kudos to the greenskeeping staff for the conditions of the course!
Affordable Golf
Enjoyed the round even in the windy conditions. Check the weather. It can be windy out there. Make sure you play to your yardage. Some holes require a 200 yd shot from the tee to fairway.
Fast greens, keep ball in play
Good playing experience in general. Fast greens roll true, course in good shape. Keep balls in play! Plenty of desert waste land to quickly lose balls as the playing surfaces are generally elevated so shots just slightly off roll down into weeds and rocks. Long way from the strip!
Silverstone
Course was in great shape, really green for Las Vegas. Club House is like a private country club. Very friendly staff when I was there. If you play from the tips you need to be accurate off the tee. Some of the holes required a 220 yard carry to the fairway. Carts have GPS. A bit of a drive from the Strip but worth it. Don't forget to tip, after all it is Vegas.
beautiful couse
Love this place. Not expensive. Great staff and never backed up.
Not my favorite
I was disappointed with the staff especially. We arrived early for our time. The guy at the bag drop loaded our clubs and raced off with the cart before we even had all we needed from the car.
No range balls so we just putted then we were off to the tee and our cart would barely go. The twosome we were paired with said the starter told them that our cart was really old and he hoped it would make it. It didn't! Had to call the pro shop and change carts after 1st hole put us a little behind and the cart they brought gps not working and course not marked frustrating experience.
