Willows Run Golf Club - Eagle's Talon Course
About
Willows Run Golf Club has something for every golfer with two 18-hole links courses, a nine-hole, par-3 course, and a "themed" putting course that draws inspiration from courses in four different climate zones. Located in the Sammamish River Valley, there are stunning views of Mount Rainier to the south. Eagle's Talon is one of the 18-hole, championship courses. With four sets of tees, the golf course appeals to a wide range of skill levels. The links-style course is challenging but fair, with strategically placed bunkers and rough. Water also has a prominent presence, with the Sammamish River running alongside the two championship courses. The river is home to several runs of salmon and trout and it also attracts a variety of birds including ducks and blue herons.

Great hot deal
The course was great especially for the hot deal price we got. It was rainy out but the course was great will definitely be going back again. On hole 18 we found about 200 golf balls in the trees on the right.
Fun the course
Course was well layout and in pretty good conditions.
Only issue were some greens were very bumpy and some fairways very dry with little grass.
Generally good experience
Nice carts with gps. Greens are very good, fairways and tees are ok. Bunkers pretty rocky. Good value and some good holes. Best shape the course has been in for awhile.
Beautiful rounds
I invited my golf buddies to play here , and they all enjoyed rounds and everyone wanted to come back here.
Weekend round at Willows
Course and pace of play were very good. One of the more walkable courses around and usually in very good condition.
Fun course, fantastic value
Course has some interesting layouts, some easy holes and then suddenly some challenging ones! Overall I'd play this course again and would recommend it to anyone.
Walking isn't too bad but I was glad I got a cart as there are some good distances between a few of the holes.
Overall, the layout is mostly pretty open from the tees with some trees here and there. Mainly if you are within 10 feet of fairway you are usually ok.
Beautiful course
Green was in excellent and fairway was well kept for the dry weather. Took only 4 and half hours to finished with 3 tournaments going on.
Good overall course
Staff was generally nice, though the starter wasn't overly helpful in telling us how things worked for our first time there. Greens and tees were in great shape, fairways were decent with some dry patches.
No Water
I could not believe a golf course in the dead of summer had no water on the course other than buying it from the concession stand for $2 a bottle. All courses have water available except this one.
Where is the H2O?
Hot day, and no water on the course. There wasn't even water at the snack shack between #10 and 11. (We could have bought some).
In addition, I went through Golf.com, but the pro-shop at first charged us their non-golf.com price. Luckily I caught the mistake, but my playing partner did not and paid $5 more.
Beautiful course
Good price for the beautiful course by using the GolfNow membership
Very Nice Course, Can Get Backed Up
This is a stunning course. The staff were all incredibly helpful and nice. For the most part the course is straight, with many long par 4's and 5's. Conditions were excellent, even with the hotter than normal weather. Carts have built in GPS that helps you gauge distance to the green and pin, very helpful.
The course did get very backed up around hole 10, and we ended up waiting quite a while for the group in front of us. We weren't even sure where the group came from because they hadn't been in front of us for the prior holes.
Overall, I'd come back based on the course, service, and overall value.
Freaking Awesome Greens!
How awesome are the greens here?? It's been a few years since I have been to Willows, hasn't always had the best conditions. That sure has changed. As I said greens were awesome and quick. Fairways, tees, approaches all in great condition. I will definitely be back soon.
