Course is good, but....
The course is good, fun layout, has some challenges, but very playable. The pace of play is terrible! Starter sent a twosome out infront of us (that was not on the tee sheet) while we were in line at the first tee 20 minutes behind schedule already waiting on a foursome to finish with group selfies before teeing off. 1 hour to complete the first 2 holes, and over 3 plus to get thru 9. I will never go on a weekend again!
Genuine Pleasure to Play
We wanted to try something a little different from the typical golf experience and what a pleasant surprise. First of all we were greeted by a friendly young lady who handled our inquiries and check in like she cared. We then met the starter who was engaging, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in giving us the course layout and details along with a few options to help us play a quick round.
There are 3 nine hole courses (white, red, and blue) and you can mix and match 18 holes as you please. We played the blue and red courses and found the links style course in great condition and pleasing to the eye. I am a 12 handicap and my wife is a novice and we both enjoyed the experience thoroughly.
We played our round in 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Is a little off the beaten path but at 30 minutes outside Orlando, well worth the trip.
We will definitely be back!
Must Play
The course was in great shape from Tees to greens , roughs , Sand Traps . Bathrooms on courses need some quality renovation but well worth the monies ..
Great time
The course was in great shape and was a great value. The starter was helpful and very friendly. It was a birthday trip for my 50th. Great time was had by all.
Outstanding course!
27 Great holes with plenty of links style mixed in. Winter rate at $52 for 18. you can't beat that value during the winter. The greens were as good or better than the $80 - $100 courses in the area. The staff is really friendly and the starter was great There are only a handful of homes so mostly nature to enjoy. Pace of play was solid. Got in 18 under 4 hours easily.
Great Experience
Loved every part of our day
Finished off with a relaxing time around the fire pit
A great hidden Gem! Must check this place out!
A Golfer's Playground:
Royal St. Cloud Golf Links is like a golf amusement park, seriously. They've got three 9-hole courses – White, Blue, and Red. Today, we tackled the Blue to Red layout, and it was a wild ride.
Blue Course:
The Blue course is all about wide fairways, wasteland bunkers, big water hazards, and smooth greens. Those greens? Super fast. Better hold on! Your putt might roll off the green.
Red Course:
The Red course is a different beast. Tight fairways, water everywhere, bunkers ready to gobble your balls, and out-of-bounds signs popping up when you least expect them. In my opinion the Longer and Harder side of the property.
Retro Vibes:
Something I've never seen on a golf course is these cool old-school phone booths (pictured above). Definitely a unique design choice!
Course Conditions:
The whole place was in great shape and worth every penny. Each hole has its flair and style, and I'm pumped to take on the White course soon!
Whether you're a pro or just getting into golf, @royalstcloudgolflinks has something for everyone. Make sure to plan your trip out that way sometime soon!
White Great, Red Fair
We played on Saturday the 2nd. Started on the Red course and the conditions of the first 5 holes were fair at best and the smell from the water treatment plant the last couple of holes was gross. The withe course was in great condition.
Bob
The greens were ture and fast. I have played this course many times and it has never been disappointed.
