Greens need more attention
Challenging course fun to play but the greens need more attention impossible to complete a good scoring card under those conditions
November golf
Great sunny afternoon on quiet golf course
No waiting on tees
Good place to play
The course is great and the staff is excellent. Just a little surprised the restaurant had closed ahead of the posted schedule on the blackboard. That’s my only criticism of a fine course and staff. Thanks
Beautiful course
The course was clean and wide open! Loved playing this course!
Great open course
Loved the course! It was clean, well kept and the staff was amazing!! Will definitely come back!
Not ideal
It’s the closest course to my house but I was reminded why I only play it about once a year. The starter was a mega curmudgeon to put it nicely, and had no concept of what makes for a personal experience. Range was closed and they forgot to tell people who had already bought a bucket. On the first hole, a mower maintenance worker mowed over my ball just off the right rough before I could get to it…as he saw me searching for it, which sliced up my ball. The greens were borderline unplayable slow. The layout is nice, the pace of play on a weekday afternoon was mostly okay, but you’re still paying just about weekend prices on a hot deal. Better services and conditions and I’ll come back, but wouldn’t recommend in the meantime.
Great course…
It’s a great course to play with the following, walkers are mixed in with riders which slows the pace of play and only saw the beverage cart once per nine….
review of the Lakes course
The fairways were exceptional and I didn't get a bad lie. The greens were smooth and very enjoyable. The rough needed to be cut lower. We wasted a lot of time looking for balls in the deep grass and slowed down the pace of play.
Beautiful Course but Difficult to find ball
Let me start off by saying the course is quite a spectacle as it sits next to the two lakes, however, if you hit your ball anywhere but the fairway or green, good luck finding your ball. The thick cut grass felt like a maze trying to locate your ball. Now, you could say "maybe you just need to get better" or " you should keep better track of where your ball lands", but let me tell you, even some shorts there were just off the fairway or green where difficult to locate. I suppose my proposal to the grounds keeper would be to lower the blade of the mower maybe a level or two that way not nearly as maybe balls are as difficult to locate. Everything else besides the length of the grass for the rough though, was great. I would still highly recommend it to all.
