Greystone. Best Bang for Your Buck Coast-to-Coast
Solid design. Solid conditioning and maintenance. Variety of tees that cater to players of all abilities. Nice 'prairie links' design with moderate bunkering and fantastic greens. Overall, Greystone has to be one of the better values in public golf in the United States. Sounds like hyperbole, but as a Rater for a few notable golf magazines, I can honestly say that Greystone is one of the best bangs for your buck in the entire US. Get out and enjoy!!!
Talk about 'Bang for Your Buck!'
Fantastic "Prairie' Links design. Solid routing, fun greens, bunkers galore, including the infamous pot bunkers. Overall, one of the best deals in public golf to be found in the US... and I'm not kidding. Outstanding value. SOLID design. FUN times!!!
A beautiful course
Challenging holes and sweeping vistas, not to mention lightning fast greens will keep you engaged and appreciative of the course designed by Tom Lehman.
A challenging course in great condition.
I liked the layout of this course. Straight forward hole design with large greens and good fairways. The greens were in terrific condition. Plenty of water to add character and some risk/reward decisions. I will be back to this course.
Definitely worth the visit
An excellent course and in great shape. Mostly Links style (except for 18, which was a little different) and very nice layout. Their weekday morning special is an excellent value for the course you are getting. A very nice, challenging round but very playable too!
Enjoyed the course!
We had a great time - will definitely play here again!
From the tips
Heavy rain prier to our tee time so the course was playing long. The greens were very good. You could see they were doing work on the bunkers still it was a great round of golf !
Great value
Fun course. One slow foursome wouldn’t let my twosome play through. Otherwise fantastic
Worth the trip
Played this course later in the day and course was in great shape, With all the rain in the last week. some areas were soft. Rough wasn't too long, and greens were in great shape. I'm sure that in another week or two the courses will be plugging there greens. The wife and I don't like playing or paying for a course that just punched there greens. Will wait a few weeks after being punch to play a course again. If it wasn't for the 1 1/2 hour drive, we would play the course more often.
Excellent golf
Course was in fantastic shape. Enough room for errant driving
