Coyote Creek Golf & RV Resort - Deer Nine Course
About
Coyote Creek is situated just west of Sundre, nestled in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. The golf course is comprised of two distinct nines, the Deer Nine and the Coyote Nine. Opened in 2005, the Deer Nine was the first of the two to open. The Coyote was added three years later. The Deer Nine features undulating greens that are balanced by wide, player-friendly fairways. The bunkering is seemingly minimal but it's strategically positioned to punish errant shots. The golf course opens with an intimidating par 4 with a double-tiered green but the toughest hole comes next. This par 4 is also the longest, playing to a massive green that has two bunkers on each side. Laying up short of the green is an option if you can't reach it in two.

scenic
Greens are excellent, fast and tricky. Quallity conditions
Best Deal on a beautiful course!!!
We couldn't have had a better day on a course that exceeded our expectations. We had been here before but not since the new clubhouse was built and now the whole facility is first class. Best golf deal around. Course has lush wide open fairways and big greens & was in perfect condition. Hope to be back soon.
Our favorite Alberta Course
We always enjoy playing Coyote Creek and make a point of travelling there a couple of times each year. We normally stay overnight and play on the day of arrival and play 36 the following day. However, on this occasion there was a tournament the following day so we could only play 18 on this day. The conditions were excellent as usual and because there had been a severe storm the day before, there were many cancellations due to no carts allowed. We had booked a pre-paid Golf Now rate that included the cart so were not able to take advantage of that. It is an easy walking course though so we did not have a problem walking. We experienced rain on a couple of holes but the pace of play was fantastic and we finished in about 3 hours 20 minutes. We caught up to couple of groups and they let us play through. We were held up on the last 3 holes but still made good time. The course conditions were soft from the rain but still very playable.
Great course
Course was in great condition and with our golf now hot deal it was amazing value. It rained for the first 4 holes so we had the course to ourselves. Would definitely play here again.
Course is in great conditions
Course and staff were amazing. No debit available.
Brilliant course
I just played Coyote Creek for the first time and all that i can say is WOW!! This course is great for players of all abilities. Love the wide fairways, immaculate greens and just the overall condition of the course.
Despite the fact the area is going through a bit of a drought period right now, the maintenance team has kept this course looking top notch, Some bone dry patches in areas, but they're mostly along the trees....nothing that really affects the overall experience
I will definately be playing this course again in the future.
golfing
Wonderful course in very good condition for this time of year. friendly staff, very nice facility
Loving Coyote Creek!
Coupled with the nice, country drive from Calgary to Sundre, the well-groomed layout and 'no-pressure' pace offered by the staff make it a must play. Excellent value on the Hot Deal.
Course was great but....
Golf course was fantastic but kitchen facilities were lacking. Long slow round but still a high recommend from me!!

treed course
had a great time. course in excellent shape and pace of play was good
maturing nicely
I've played this course a few times a year since it opened, this is the best I've seen it. Very mature, with great fairways and fast greens. Great job!
A favorite course
Coyote Creek is such a wonderful treat. From booking, check in, lunch and playing the round... All great! The staff are absolutely amazing. Some of the best I've experienced and the course is in perfect shape. This course suffered significant damage last year in the floods but you would never know if. It really is in amazing shape. Definitely challenging at times but is primarily due to my erratic balls! Offered enough challenge to make it an interesting round by not too difficult as to frustrate... the course that is. My game, in itself adds enough frustration.
Great Course in the Beautiful Alberta Foothills
The course is in excellent shape. Coyote Nine is challenging. Deer Nine much easier.
Enjoyable Track
They were about 20 minutes behind start time but were quite accommodating, providing us with range balls while we waited. The tee boxes were in great shape and the greens were also good.
Coyote Creek
I found that this golf coarse was in good shape with wide open fairways , we played Deer nine and Coyote nine.
I found that on Deer nine the residents of the R.V. Park were very nosey and very unfriendly to the point where I felt like I was not welcome.
On the other hand Coyote nine was more secluded and very relaxing and fun. If I could give them any advice it would be to get there residents on board with other people golfing there course or just make it private . After all it's a long way to drive to deal with the unfriendly and I don't mean the staff.
Great Course
Play here 2 or 3 times a year. Course is in great shape. Well groomed, excellent and fast greens. Wide fairways, which makes it easier for those who slice. Would recommend playing this course to any level of golfer
