Ocean Resorts Golf Club
About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College, which uses the golf course as a living laboratory for students in the green industry.

Golf Review
Nice course, well-maintained. First several holes seemed a lot harder than the rest. Be aware that they won't let you take carts into the parking lot - what a pain, since we had to park in the overflow lot far away.
Great pace.
Great pace, nobody was on top of us. The heat beat some of the greens up. Love this course.
Last Resort
Booked as a Hot Deal for 65 on a Saturday morning or else I’d be upset if I paid 80 for a course in that shape. Tee boxes were in rough shape but not as rough as some of the greens that were more sand than grass.
Nice layout, challenging course
Nice layout, some tough holes it stays interesting. The condition of the course was a bit below the premium courses but for the price it was definitely reasonable.
Good day on the course
I enjoyed my round with three golfers I had not met before. I improved my score over the other two times I had played the course this summer.
Course suffering from lack of water
The v course and greens are drying up. It was difficult to find hittable lies in most fairways. Half of the greens had been arraitted making those putts a guessing game
Poor conditions
Course layout was OK. Conditions were horrible. Third hole was closed. Four holes had top dressing that you really couldn’t put. The boxes were in horrible condition. A lot of the fairways and other grounds. You had him roll the ball to get grass. It’s a shame because the layout is fine and the people working there are excellent.
Could use some work but still enjoyed it
The front 9 was a good shape but on the back some tee boxes need some work. Pace of play was great and the staff was super friendly. It’s a little pricy for shape but it’s a beach course so I expected it. Overall I’ll give it a 7.5/10, def will be back again in the future.
Tees and greens are being worked on, not in great shape
Generally like this course and play there pretty regularly, they are working to improve the tees and greens.
Expected better conditions for the price of this round.
Hoping it improves in the next month or so.
Tee boxes were more sand than grass
First time playing this course while I was on vacation and it was very underwhelming to say the least. The conditions of the course were very poor for the price of the course. Most of the tee boxes were all sand and even some of the greens. Very upsetting for the price paid and definitely wouldn’t recommend if playing golf at the beach
Needs a Little Love
Nice course but fairways and tee boxes need a bit of care. Layout is good and pricing is fair for the course.
