Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club - Silver Pony Course
This course was a lot of fun. Holes are kind of spread out so a golf cart is a must. Overall it is a very fun and fair golf course.
I like everything about Silverado. Excellent staff, good course maintenance, fun track, etc.
Silverado is great.
We play this course 25+ times a year. Course is fun, play is fast and the food is excellent.
Not very “accommodating “
Let me start off by saying that almost every thing about the course was fantastic except for my treatment by the clubhouse staff...I am on the autism spectrum and explained to the staff that I would not be able to “enjoy” myself if I had to share a cart with somebody and therefore be put in a position that I was very uncomfortable with… I was told that I could not have a cart by myself if I was in a foursome . Again I let them know that my experience would be such that my round would be unenjoyable if that was the case. They told me my only option was to wait and see if A Twosome would be coming up, and I could join them. Fortunately, I did not have to wait long, but I still feel that the situation could have been dealt with better rather than having to wait. I have golfed at hundreds of other places where I have been a single and have never been denied this accommodation… Very, very disappointed
Corrections have been made
The course was a 100 % better than 2 was ago. Where overseed was washed out reseeding has been done. A few holes are cart path only to let new grass come in. Couple more weeks and this course should be in very good condition
I have booked thru Golfnow many times.
Rarley, has a member of my group canceled at the last minute. One did cancel today an half-hour before the T-time.
Silverado Golf course charged me the full $69 green fee for the golfer that canceled. No other golf course has ever charged me for someone who had canceled at the last minute. It was not my fault, yet it cost me $69.
I will not play Silverado again.
Great value great course
Front nine is a more traditional layout, back nine gives you a desert sampling. The 18th is a fun closing hole.
They had over seeded recently so the course was a little wet. Otherwise the condition was great and the greens were very good. Fun Course.
Picked the wrong day
Unfortunately their was several bachelor party groups ahead of us which slowed play down considerably.
extensive damage from rains
This has been a very well kept course. Recent
massive rains from Rosa and Sergio have washed out massive amounts of the overseed. Some fairways and areas near the greens have only
remnants of the bermuda grass. Other areas
are extremely spotty with major bare spots.
Hopefully the course will bite the bullet and spend the money to correct these problems or this will be a goat patch this year
The course could have been fun but lots of mud and standing water. They must have drainage issues big time. The course crew were cutting the trees everywhere and appeared they just left them where they cut them including days before. and they were stacked up on many many holes and quite a hazzard. . No driving range, but the course condition was not good was unacceptable.
Course in great condition.
The best I have seen the course at this time of year. Practive putting green is lush, and greens on course were all very good. Recent rains helped with grass but creating other flooding problems that appeared to be handled properly. All staff very helpful and professional. Excellent experience today.
