Excellent Greens
Overall course was average but greens were excellent.
Nice course with wide fairways.
Play this course when it was a GolfNow hot deal. The course is a bit open and windy, but it was quite fun. I would definitely play it again when the price is right
Covid
Love this course - grounds crew does a great job. Slow play sometimes.
Be nice to put the ball washers back at tee boxes.
Another perfect Sunday!
3 and 1/2 Hour round on a Sunday morning! Course is in fantastic shape...as always!
Forgiving Course and Friendly Staff
Saddlebrooke Ranch is in the center of a very active community. Besides the golf course, there are many other activities that the residents enjoy such as: bocci, pickleball, tennis, and other community events and activities. Go for a good round of golf and see for yourself.
Ball Rolls Forever!
First time playing this course. Staff was very friendly. Practice/warm-up facilities are excellent. Course was in great shape. Greens were very fast, but not difficult to read. Course has wide open fairways and the ball rolls forever. Layout isn't bad, but not a lot of interesting features. Pretty flat. I was told by a regular that course conditions tend to be windy, which is what we experienced. I would play it again.
SBR
other player hat on backwards, shirt hanging out and little understanding of standard golf
procedures.
Staff
I've played all over the country, but when coming to the Ranch I need to check myself and make an effort to change my expectations until I'm on the course and away from the first tee.
Have never been to a course where the 'rules' are so unkindly forced down your throat in such a brutal unkind and unwelcoming way. From the pro shop to the cart person to the rules for approaching the first tee nothing welcoming takes place. Totally different experience from almost all courses we play.
It's like the atitude is you are lucky we even allow to play here. Sad.
On the course yesterday we had a totally unique and dangerous experience with a member of the grounds crew.
We had just gotten out of our carts to approach the tee box when your staff came by on his mower cutting the rough alongside the cart path where we were standing. He continued past us within 18 inches throwing stones and grass at our legs! NO EXAGGERATING! Unbelievable.Love the course with the forward tees for the ladies but how much aggravation is that really worth!
