SO happy I played here

killer course! its like Michelle Wie: Beautiful & skinny. I love me some links golf, and this course is some fantastic prairie links. Eureka/ Kalispel has some sneaky great golf! course reminds me of Palouse Ridge in Pullman, WA. if you play here, stay at Borderline B&B

Hit it Straight!

I found the fairways quite narrow in the drive landing areas. And even hitting the fairway the ball had a tendency to bounce off the fairway into the dry first cut. I have not played a lot of links type courses and this is for sure that type. Found myself hitting from dry scruffy rough. The green were awesome. Fast but not crazy and very smooth and true. Held the ball well on approach shots. I found it weird that there were no colored flags or anything to tell you where the flag was located on the green. Kind of tried to shoot for the middle of the green and hope that was good enough.

Hit it straight or insure you have many golf balls

This course has a good layout with many challenging holes. Some wind the day we played which made it difficult. Played the back tees which was mistake. Fairways are not too wide and off the fairway is unkempt grass like farmers field. Once you hit into that area even by just few feet your ball disappears like a Houdini trick. Green's were good but slow. Very friendly staff. I would suggest even for good players to play blue tees or white.
