Excellent 9 hole course
Fun 9 hole course in excellent condition. Staff is very helpful as carts are excellent and clean . Highly recommend this course .

Narrow greens but worth playing here!
I’ve played this course multiple times and I have to say the golf pro here is the nicest pro I’ve ever talked to. Apart from the amazing golf pro the course is always upkept and clean. The fairways are wicked narrow but that makes a great shot that is much more worth it. For the price I would highly recommend. I signed up as a solo golfer and was paired up with another 3 older gentlemen. All 3 of them were so nice and just wanted to play and have a good time, we were the first group out with no one behind us, which allowed for an extra hit or two at some holes. Highly recommend if you can somewhat hit the ball straight.

First time there
Been trying to get over there for a while now because I've never played it and am only 30 minutes away. My friend thought I might be bored with a 9 hole course but we were both pleasantly surprised. Course has plenty of challenge, greens are perfect, club pro and staff made us feel welcomed. How welcomed, we stayed to play 36 holes on a late October day in New England.
6.5hrs 36 holes ;)

Great experience, first class pro Kieth was very accomadating. Course conditions were great with the feature being the greens, fast with subtle breaks.

QUIRKY AND NEED TO KNOW THEIR DRESS CODE
When checking in with the golf pro, was advised NO CARGO shorts...but let me play anyway...
VERY TIGHT COURSE
Homes are considered 'fair game'...at least by the regulars I apparently played the round with...wound through multiple home sites, across roads, and while the course itself was in good shape, one could not see how it is possible to NOT be distracted by the close proximity of homes...
On a busy day, one could see the need for the word FORE for sure...there were holes with trees so close, one would do better with a pitching wedge to get thru(#8 I think)...
Quirky ran from the parking lot and trying to find a bag drop, no real signage, but then again, as a non member, I m not sure what I would expect...
Hit A House
Hard to really enjoy a place where nearly every fairway is so tight, and the houses are regularly getting hit by a wayward shot. On top of that, this very short course REQUIRES non-members to pay for and use a cart. Clear greed or arrogance or both. Go somewhere else.
JUst silly is all Golf is meant to be walked and a tiny course like that is meant to be walked.
We play at Louisquisset all the time. Why would you booking in under golf now expect the same rights and privileges as a paying member at a private golf club. When we book with golf now it clearly states we are agreeing to abide by the golf club course policies. Don't ruin for the rest of us..
I acknowledge the comment that carts are included in the fee but stand by my opinion that requiring a cart on such a course is ludicrous. To be fair though, there were people walking that day and the pro told me only members could walk.
To clarify players are not forced to pay for a cart it is included in your fee that you pay on Golf Now when you book your reservation. Being a private facility BOTH members, guests of members and Golf Now Guests are required to ride.
Good as ususal
Louisquissett is a well maintained course with enough difficulty to satisfy better golfers. Keith the golf pro is always hospitable, helpful and cheerful; truly an asset to the course. I always enjoy playing the course.

Great place to play!
This was my first time playing here. I’m a beginner when it comes to golf so this course was a bit more challenging for me. The fairways are a bit narrow and unless you hit the ball semi straight you’ll feel like you’ll hit the Condominiums aligning the course. The golf pro there was so friendly! He showed us the layout of the course and even let us tee off before our start time. I’ve played at a few different courses and the golf carts and amenities were top of the line! I would 100% play here again. If you’re a first timer or a beginner at this course tell the golf pro and he’ll take care of you. Highly recommend!

I have to disagree with bigalswife. I played with her on this day and the golf staff & golf professional were more than courteous to her. We had to listen to her for 18 holes complain about the golf pro because she booked a hot deal time at 8:30 in our foursome and the pro would not let her play at a different time with that rate with 3 of her member friends. It was my self and 2 other players that booked in. bigalswife booked the very inexpensive Hot Deal Rate and then wanted to play at another time that would have had to be booked at the regular price. To avoid paying regular price she booked with us and didn't want to play with us but her friends. If you don't want to play with other players you are booking in with you shouldn't be booking at that time. Or using golf now to try and manipulate the rate you pay.
I play Louisquisset regularly and the staff is fantastic. They make us feel like and treat us as we we're members. I'll be back soon.
Staff should not be given a negative review when you book in a Hot Deal time with 3 other individuals and then try and play with three of your member friends at a different tee time to avoid paying the appropriate $35.00 guest fee. All Hot Deal Players must play together. You can not book a Hot Deal and then try to play in a regular tee time spot avoid paying the appropriate greens fee.
All bookings will play at the booked in time. As well as with the players in that group.
Hidden gem
Impeccably, and continuously maintained, with extraordinarily friendly, welcoming, helpful, tolerant staff, from Keith Niles, the Pro, all the way to the mowing guys (gorgeous greens, splendid and FAIR differentiation between fairways and rough), this course got some serious play during our round, but the respect shown by all of the players for the beauty and quality of the course demonstrated just how much the members valued this hidden gem.
The only quibble is an immutable: because it winds through a condo complex, there is noise from the daily lives of the residents (garbage trucks and such) which is inevitable.
Challenging, narrow landings are a factor, unless one is precise, but finding errant balls was never an issue, because of the loving maintenance of the WHOLE course.
Pace of play was a little intense, but never pressured. A wonderful experience I hope to repeat.
