Love it
I love this course! It is very challenging!
Emerald 9 hole course is fun
Crazy layout. Needed better management of pace of play. Course in good condition
Windy but wonderful
Felt like playing on links course with high winds out on the open prairie. Get a map of 9 hole layout it’s wild.
Greens fast and very fair I made some hole saving long puts.
Playing it again next week.
Great course
Played on a Monday, followed one 2 some had a great time. Love the course, won’t pay retail!
Links style 9 hole course with great angle options.
I enjoyed the round and the friendliness of the staff.
Very nice course with some challenging holes. Pace of play was excellent.
A little pricey
You are usually paying 26-30 bucks for 9 holes and Tuckaway is 25 for 18 holes ( less than 10 miles away) However you can get on the Emerald just about anytime and it is always in good shape. I play about once a week and the staff is friendly
Perfect twilight golf deal
Green gardens has 45 holes to play and twilight golf is when this course really shines. The staff is really good about getting as many golfers off as possible by sending golfers off on 1st and 10th tees for blue and gold course but don't overlook the Emerald course. It has a true links feel and this 9 holer will have you using all your clubs to navigate thru fescue, waste bunkers and 3 different lakes. The 9th hole is the signature par 5 with an island green that is a real risk to reward finish.
Review
I wish this app wasn’t so hard to navigate. I accidentally bought a 9-hole course instead of 18. I paid $40 extra for a round because this app wouldn’t let me cancel.
Very nice course
Except for a little soggy from rain a excellent course. The 9 hole emerald is done very well taken care of. Will play again definitely.
Usually not too busy, play it in 60-70 minutes
Some old sand traps left to grow wild other than that in pretty good condition. Pretty challenging from the tips but you can play quickly.
I’ve played in an hour and with a Hot Deal it is great bargain. I play at least once a week
Hidden Gem
My husband and I enjoy playing the Emerald course. It is their 9 hole course and not as busy as the Blue & Gold. The fairways and greens are kept up nicely but they should work on the sand traps which are filled with weeds and very little sand. Signage is good but could use a little improvement on some holes. Overall it is a great course to play and we will definitely go back for another round of 9 holes.
Good for beginners - leisurely golf
I played this course to get out golfing with my wife who is really bad. This course was good because it wasn't crowded and we didn't have anyone behind us until an outing started toward the end of the round. Course conditions are okay. The grass on the Tee boxes, fairways and greens is a little long but not terrible. The course was wet and soggy the morning we played. Bunkers are unplayable. Course routing is very strange and easy to get lost. All in all it's a good course just to get some practice and where you can play at any pace you want.
