First Time, I’ll be back!
This was my first time playing the summit golf club. I drove the 40min from St. Paul on a weekday afternoon because of the great reviews and was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and I loved the course layout. A variety of wide and narrow fairways and some beautiful elevated tee boxes on the back 9. The course conditions were average, with the tees and fairways likely not cut in the past few days, but not too long. The bunkers were really the only poor part of the course conditions, but I managed to stay out of them all day. Greens were fast and I’m good shape. Loved the course and even more so the price I got. I’ll definitely be back with friends this summer.
Good course!
We played on November 2 and the greens were in very good shape especially for the time of year. Good value!
Excellent greens
Usually play here a couple of times each summer. This round was our first of the year. Even with all of the rain, the course was very playable, other than the bunkers which many had standing water and washouts. Greens were in excellent condition. Fun course to play.
Great time, Fun course, Terrific value
I have played this course a few times now and enjoy it more each time!
Hidden gem!
Met a friend for a round of golf, took a chance on Summit and was pleasantly surprised! The course was in great shape and provided ample challenges as well as forgiveness. It's 2 courses in 1 - the front 9 is relatively flat and open, and the back 9 is a winding tour through cliffs and valleys....not hokey or contrived, but quite different from the front. If you want some fun, give this course a shot!
Summit
Nice course, good pace of play, excellent value. Worth the drive out of the cities.
Great even in the rain
We love to play at the Summit it’s a course that will leave an impression, we’ve played there a number of times and it always is fun and challenging. The only downfall is the carts have no windshields And the clubhouse has few offerings for snacks and libations.
New owners, still great course
Been playing this course since I moved here 3.5 years ago. Bit of a drive, but well worth it. Cannon Falls is always busy, so drive 5 miles down the road for a greater challenge. Loggers Trail and Summit are by far the best courses offered on GolfNow in MSP.
Great course for money
Played it before and will definitely play it again. Great price. Great course.
Challenging and Fun
The course and greens in excellent condition. Fun layout and many interesting challenges. Will play again.
forget the golf and enjoy the views
We like the Summit and it was a perfect day for golf. We had a tee time in the gap between a lot of players and we moved along very nicely. Thanks to the person in the clubhouse for suggesting we get out in front of the guys on the range warming up. The course plays pretty long and there are some tough holes. I stopped keeping score and just enjoyed the cart ride. Greens and fairways were in great shape...I cannot think of anything to be improved.
Excellent course!
I really like the downhill tee offs. 3 separate holes on the back nine.
