Great Course
Course is always in great condition. Greens always challenging, tough and in excellent condition. Open but elevation changes and wind make for good test of golf.
Hidden Gem
Very breezy on the day I played. The wind gives the course some teeth. Greens were fast and pins tough. Played 27 holes in 4 1/2 hours. It’s obvious that the people who own and run this course love golf. Worth the trip.
Love the course.
This is the best course west of the Twin Cities, and what a great value.
Great course. No leaves.
Great course to play. Nice to play in fall also. No trees with leaves. Is tough with wind.
Rock/Granite
As always course in great shape and plays fast 2 1/2 hours for 18 today. Very quiet, no planes, no noise at all. Greens a little too quick but fun.
Pro shop employees cause frustration!
The course was nice but I went to the 1st tee and the group in front of us was not ready so they asked us to go ahead and tee off. We got down the 1st fairway and a message came up on the GPS screen to return to the tee and wait for our tee time because there were others with tee times before us. We went back to the tee and the group we were supposed to wait for still was not ready! Again, they asked us to go ahead and go in front of them. The pro shop people are out of touch and frustrated us. Their behavior caused us to have a stressful and less enjoyable round!
Great Course
Great Tee boxes, great fairways and Excellent greens
Fast round, beautiful course
3 nine hole sides which makes for speedy play, gps on carts is awesome, course in great shape
Great place to visit
Very nice course - it was in great shape. Can get a bit windy. Good value!
worth the drive
About an hour drive for us, second time playing this year. Like the 3 different 9 holes courses they have. Both times we ended up playing the third nine after playing 18.. great price. and no problems getting onto the 3rd nine. worth the drive.
Very Nice Country Course
Albion Ridges Golf Course comprises three nine-hole tracks called Boulder, Rock and Granite. This review is based on playing Rock and Granite. The course is a no frills rural operation. The first clue is that when you drive into the parking lot you notice the small building next to the pro shop. That’s where the restrooms are located. Based on this information, you might expect that the fairways and greens would be less than well cared for. You’d be wrong. The rolling fairways are lush and healthy, smooth with lots of roll. The greens are also in top shape, slightly contoured, and moderately fast. Putts roll true. The course is set in the middle of farm country, so cornfields lie along the periphery, and you can imagine the course as it must have been twenty years ago when it was cornfields as well. Tree coverage is very sparse and there are very few water hazards on the course. The primary difficulty you’ll find is the rough. There is no intermediate cut, so if you get even a foot or two off the fairway you might have trouble finding your ball. One of the most interesting holes on the Rock Nine is the dogleg left par 4 5th hole, 352 yards from the back tees. A pond lies along the inside corner of the dogleg, looming large from the elevated tee. A tee shot to the right of the 150 yard marker will leave a short iron to the green that slopes from back to front. A challenging hole on the Granite Nine is the 149 yard par 3 6th. From the elevated tee you can see no bail-out, as a marshy area lies to the right of the green and a cornfield (OB) is only about 10 paces from the left side of the green. Make a confident stroke and hope for a par. Our foursome all enjoyed playing the course and wish that it was closer to the Twin Cities so we could play it more often.
Very Nice Golf Course
I played the Rock & Granite nines, both of which are very nice golf courses. I really enjoyed it and I shall return again.

Great course
I play here quite often since it opened. I would have to say this was probably the second time ever where there was no wind...it truly was a TOP 10 weather day...
The greens are lightning fast which is how I like 'em...
Great place to golf without a lot of difficulty and with 27 holes, golfers are dispersed quite well...
Challenging gem
I started playing this course early summer to fall of last year. It has become my favorite course to play. Holes are very challenging from black or blue tees with white tees being much easier to play from. Greens are usually very fast so practice your putting speed before playing. Course has been in great condition when I have played. Worth the extra drive time to get there.
Fun to play all 27 Holes
Fun course with fast pace of play makes the 45 minute drive well worth it. Boulder is my favorite nine so that with either Rock or Granite makes for a great round. Always challenging pin placements on pretty quick greens.
Course in great shape.......greens rolling very true for first week of May.......love playing this course
Thank you for playing at Albion Ridges. We are always very appreciative of any and all feedback to help improve our golf course and the golfing experience our customers have. We apologize for having you return to the tee box, however there were still several tee times before yours that we needed to honor before sending your group out. We always try and accommodate requests to go out early ahead of your tee time when it will not disrupt other players and their tee times. This situation was unfortunately an example of how teeing off early during someone else's tee time can not only frustrate your group, but also several other groups who become delayed as a result. We hope you will return to Albion Ridges so we can provide you with a much smoother and more enjoyable round of golf.
