Nice course
Great course, no hole are the same, a lot of elevation change, nice greens and fairway, great staff. Fairways are pretty wide, not a lot of water, good range and practice putting green. It was cold, so the pro let us walk, but usually carts are mandatory.
Play this course at least twice
If you are new to golf, play this course 2 different times! April golf mild winter did wonders. I was not good enough to play this course last year, but this year I had to try, so happy I did. Canterbury Woods will be seeing me and more and more of my golfing friends.
Challenging Course
Very challenging, but fair, course. Several severely sloping fairways where you need to place your drive in the proper area. Greens have lots of slope, so three putts are always lurking.
Canterbury Woods was Beautiful.
The course was ingreat shape. The greens were great. I always enjoy playing Canterbury. We had frost delay but the wait was well worth it.
funfunfun
wonderful sight lines, challenging and fair greens, incredible views and elevation changes, killer par 3s
Very Nice course.
First time playing Canterbury Woods. Nice golf course and very playable. Wide fairways with generous landing areas. Very enjoyable day!
Course built for mountain goats
This is your typical course carved into the side of a mountain, its steep, deep, and playing conservative is key. I have the worst luck with showing up to courses during seasonal maint. and to no surprise the course was being aerified which I understand is a necessary evil. I didn't mind those because I got a great price through golf now! Over all it is a great challenge and don't have many bad things to say about it.
Hilly terrain
We had to play the front nine twice. Greens were being aerated. Front nine was aerated the day before we played. Web site did not contain any notice of the greens being aerated and that we would have to play the first nine twice. "Large" hawk swooped down and flew away with my ball while I was within 15' of the ball.
Tight, Scenic Course with Elevation
This is one of my favorite courses in the Concord area. While there is some room to miss off the tee, if you go too far off course, you won't find your ball. There are some nice elevation changes on this course, making for a handful of dramatic tee shots and approaches. The greens were in excellent condition, rolling very true for a public course. If you're up for a true New England golf experience and a good, but not overwhelming test, this is a great choice.
Fun course
Beautiful scenaries good test of golf and yet fun.
Tough greens
great condition, great price, geat golf
challenging, but fair, review course layout and details before heading out,,will help a lot with experience and scoring, pleasant surroundings and views..greens and fairways in great shape
Awesome course with excellent views
Found a hot deal on Golf now and was not disappointed. This course has a lot of elevation, you are rarely hitting off of a flat lie. Has a lot of nice view of the mountains. We are not talking Pebble Beach, but very nice for the area. I would definitely recommend or would play here again if I am ever in the area.
Great, scenic track!
Excellent course in fantastic condition! Was visiting from out of town, joined as a single with 3 great local guys. Some tight driving holes and greens were rolling about 11 (my guess) quite a bit of undulation with subtle breaks. After getting acquainted with the layout and knowing where to miss, this would be a good scoring course. Definitely would play again when I'm in the area.
Beautiful views
Canterbury Woods is a great golf course. It was a little tough being our first time and not knowing the layout but we would recommend it to any ability player.
Great Course, will go back.
Terrific experience. Scenic layout, greens and fairways in great shape, lots of hills and changes in
Elevation some blind shots and lots of rolling fairways.
'Into The Woods' at Canterbury
Two of us got a great last-minute Hot Deal on GolfNow to play Canterbury Woods on a Saturday morning, which I have played several times before but not for a number of years. (about 5 or 6 years ago).
Most holes have some type of elevation, sidehill lies, and/or blind shots to contend with. This lends itself to some beautiful views on a nice day but presents challenges in getting the ball close to and into the hole.
Definitely requires playing several times (and hitting the ball straight and long) along with a good short game (and familiarity with the greens) to score well.
This course is really fun
The conditions of the course the day we played were awesome. The course is fun to play with many challenging holes and terrain features. Hit away!
Canterbury Woods
I was paired up with a member who guided me through the 18 holes. The grounds are very well groomed and the greens were rolling good. They have a good range, either hit off synthetic or natural and the only negative factor would be the noise from a nearby gun range if one should shoot in the middle of your swing, but that didn't happen to us. It is truly a very sweet track.
Nice course and good rates
Played once from blue tees and once from white tees.big difference easier from whites and great challenge from blue tees.there not a bad hole out there.I traveled 80 miles to go there and it will be a must play every year.
