Good value
A very busy public course. Very friendly staff.
Large driving range with many targets, great to see families out practicing together. Short came practice area, sand & Chipping.
Large, putting green located near the first tee
Really nice electric golf carts, and GPS system in the cart.
On course, bathrooms were just dreadful. Dark, not clean and not well supplied. One ladies room door locked. No bathroom code on card or mentioned by starter
Great Public Course
This was one of the best public golf courses I've played in the DFW area. A bit of a drive but worth it. Facilitates are top notch, great range and separate putting and short game practice areas. Course is quite mature with lots of water on the back nine makes this challenging. Overall the course tests your abilities but has no cheap holes. Pace of play was a bit slow but it was a Saturday morning, what do you expect.
Look forward to coming back and would highly recommend it to others.
Excellent Track
One of the best maintained courses in the DFW metroplex.
Great course
Great coarse, a little over crowded. Great conditions. Felt pushed most of the day, but that’s what you get the week after the Masters.
A FunDenny Review
Very good golf course, excellent layout & scenery..! The greens were very, very good…fast roll on the front 9, a little slower on the back 9 for some reason which didn’t make any sense as it got hotter during the afternoon on the backside..
My only issue is that being a golfer w-some handicap issues that my cart was not allowed 2 use the 90° rule when it was a cartpath only day. Playing golf 4 over 50 yrs in my opinion, the course was drivable..Made it very difficult 4 me 2 get 2 my golf ball. It certainly slowed down MY pace of play, which was frustrating.!!
Twilight Rate
Why would anyone pay $72 for a twilight rate at SIX-FIFTY-SIX PM! Golf now and/or BRIDLEWOOD should be ashamed!!! For the record, I didn’t play but the only way to callout the indignity was to complete all this info! I’ve played this course before when the price was affordable.
Very slow pace
As a twosome, it took 6hrs to play 15 holes. The pace of play is simply far too slow; so slow that we could not even finish 18 holes, as we didn’t feel like having a 7hr round.
Always Great
Playing Bridlewood is always a great time. For winter conditions after a rain the night before everything was what I would expect for an upper tier public course.
Traffic was terrible and I arrived about 5 minutes after my time and they found a group to put me with about 15 minutes after the original time.
The only complaints I have would be the price keeps creeping up over time and #9 and #18 are 2 gimmicky holes on an otherwise wonderful layout.
Good course
Challenging course. The greens are big but tough. The fairways were wet and the grass is pretty much gone. Have played other courses in this area and the fairways were in much better condition.
Ran Out of Golf Carts
Wow.... they make you pay full price, but they ran out of golf carts and their Management would not budge on changing the rate. The rate was the same whether to walk or ride. That's pathetic.
