Nice course
Had just been a monsoon night before so course was very wet. They had put down some pebbles in areas so if you were unfortunate enough to land there your clubs would take a battering. That being said some lovely holes. Lots.of variety which I loved. Little nuggets of history a nice touch. Another downside. Course obviously bought out by some up and coming entrepreneur who has turned the main clubhouse into offices. Sad. As I read there was 2 million invested in it with a restaurant with a roof top view.
Gone down
Played here a load of times ,was a big fan , but not great this time , poor condition
Most challenging course in Westmeath
Absolutely love this course. If it were closer to my home, I would join as a member.
Conditions of the greens can be hit or miss if you play in the evening, but that’s about all I can fault.
So much variety on the holes. Brilliant par 3s and challenging drives to get into position.
Best course in Westmeath for me.
Great Course
Third time playing here and everytime we all love it. Greens are great , some really testing holes. Short and long par 3's and 4's. Really good mix . Will def be back again
Nice course
This course is nice, some of the views are very nice. There are some great holes but there are a handful of pokey holes, ie 7 iron layup to the corner followed by a wedge to the green. The quality of greens were good but some were maybe too undulated, no flat putts at all. The biggest criticism though would be the tee boxes, they were badly dug up in places and the grass was long, they need to be sectioned off and repaired. It must have been a difficult summer re.maintenance but the tees need looking at. Staff were very nice. Overall nice round and at 20euro worth it.
Excellent
Fabulous course, no bland holes. Highly recommend. It was a 1 hour spin for us to get to it but it was certainly worth it. Not your typical up and down parkland. Without doubt the best value about
Top quality
One of the best courses I have played and for that price I will be returning again
Gem
Picked the course solely for location. Never heard of it before. We were pleasantly surprised. Firstly, it's quite a long course. It's quite challenging, well layed out and maintenance is adequate. Be aware there currently is no off course facilities.
The. Club has just come through receivership and under new management.
I would highly recommend it.
Excellent Course
Excellent condition of course, very challenging but also very enjoyable and one of the best courses i have played, looking forward to my next visit
really nice course
I have played this course few times and I always enjoying it. Challenging holes, beautiful place with lots of rabbits, ducks and swans around. And good kept. Must try.

No issues with ethier the course or the staff. Infact the staff are really nice and very friendly. The changing facilties are very poor and dirty. Once finish a round I like to shower and eat at the course if possible. Due to the uncleaness of the changing rooms this was not possible.
Very good course
This is a very well kept, challenging course. Greens are very well protected by water and bunkers. Par 3s are all tricky. Greens are in perfect condition. Course is never overly busy midweek.
This course is a good test

I would not go out of my way to play this course.
I would not play this course ever again if I had my way. It had holes squeezed in where they simply should have one.
Fantastic Course
Well maintained course. Great greens. Close to dublin.
Great value. Interesting parkland, great use of natural landscape.
