Highland Green Golf Club
About
Highland Green Golf Club in Topsham is a Scottish-style links course that is nestled within Maine's first adult resort community that has been ranked as one of the country's top 100 master planned communities. The spacious nine-hole golf course takes advantage of the club's 650-acre expanse across mid-coast Maine. Rather than removing them, the design incorporated the rocky outcroppings and natural ridgelines, which helped it to blend seamlessly with the rugged natural landscape. Like a true links course, the layout features contoured mounding, rolling fairways, and small, crowned greens. A few water hazards also come into play. Don't let the fact that it's only nine holes fool you, Highland Green Golf Club will test your shot-making skills in addition to requiring the use of every club in your bag.

Fu course, good layout, great fairways. Great greens but players need to repair ball marks
The course was in slightly below average shape, but I have played worse. Played on a Thursday morning in September and I think we were the only ones on the course. It was nice not having to wait every shot or having someone pushing you from behind, so it was relaxing.
Great value and excellent condition
This place is a hidden gem. Great staff and the course was in fantastic shape! Challenging holes and the layout was a lot of fun.
Hidden gem!
Great course. Need a cart given the distance between holes, but well worth it. It captures the beauty of Maine.
Nice 9 hole course
Course is in great shape. Tight course, you have to play smart golf. Really enjoy this course. Only thing I'd like to see is the golf carts cleaned better. They use really wash them inside and out. Was very clean, but now they have dust and dirt inside including on the inside of the roof.
Very nice local course
always a fun course to play, take a cart its a loooong way from hole to hole
highland greens
very nice course, friendly staff, rate was for 9 holes 9 holes
Challenging and interesting
Each hole presented a different challenge yet playable. Some fairways narrow, but playable if able to hit into the "drop area". A couple "environmental areas" proved challenging.
Tough course for seniors
You need to hit a straight ball for this course. The staff is friendly and helpful and the Wild Duck pub/ restaurant exceeds expectations
Take s cart!
While I prefer to walk when I play golf, this layout, spread within a large wooded hilly area among homes for a retirement community, requires long walks between holes. The homes are not visible from any of the holes. A cart is an absolute requirement.
Lots of blind shots and severely sloped greens make scoring well difficult. Bring lots of balls!
Unique layout.
Play here often on Golf now. Can't beat the deal. Friendly staff, fun layout and the new bar area make for a great day of golf and sightseeing.
A very good 9 hole course
The course and layout have just the right amount of challenge for me. The only issue is they were sanding the greens so they were not in the best condition yet, although I would expect that in about 10 days, they should return to their condition of last year.
Highland Green
This is the 2nd time I've played there. It is early in the season and the course showed it. The greens weren't very good, but the course overall was in good shape.
great play
Played this course for the first time this year BIG changes coming for this club, The new manager Rob is great very friendly and will help you get on your way to a great round.
This course had beautiful scenery
I'm a new golfer, and I found this course to be be fairly easy to play. Not too many large hazards. I really enjoyed my play there.
GolfNow
This is a nice course for the money. Expect to shoot higher than you usually do.
GolfNow is a good resource for identifying a specific course, but very difficult to use when trying to compare different courses. You need to have someone (preferably who is not very computer savvy) review your web site from A to Z. I'm sure you are losing a lot of money because of the unfriendly site.
Great 9 hole course
In excellent condition easy access friendliest staff great burger.
