This course has 5 nines all in excellent shape and friendly staff with great bar and great food.
Great staff
Was playing north course when ran into 2 foursome infront as I was single player. Staff told me if I wanted to play the next nine there was no one on the Pearl and jump over to Pearl and play 9 holes in one hour.
Thanks to the staff I enjoyed the fast 9 holes.
Tee time management so bad
I have to wait half an hour every hole. THere were 5 groups in a par 5 at the same time!
Some Good, Some Not So Good
This is one of 3 nine hole courses that make up Deerk Creek North. This course and Diamond made up the original Deer Creek 18 hole course before the Pearl nine was added and it has a few holes I'm sure they'd like to do again.
The start and finish have some really challenging and beautiful holes however the middle 3 par 4s (holes 3, 5 and 6) seem like they were crammed into the edge of the property. Large power lines overhead run down a couple of holes and they could each use an extra few dozen yards each to fill them out.
Overall, they layout is enjoyable and you'll need to score on those middle short holes because the finishing 3 are are good test.
My "home" Course
I have played Deer Creek North Course many times.
All 9 holes Ruby, Black Diamond and Pearl are challenging, however fun for all levels of golfers.
The course is always in great condition and the service is impeccable. They have a great team there and pay close attention to their course and to small details.
The course is very busy on weekends versus during the week, so the pace of play on average I have experienced is close to 5 hours. If they can improve on this, I would give a perfect review.
I love playing this course every season and play it multiple times. Can't wait to play it again and I always bring my out of town guests to this course.
