Variety in terms of layout
Contrary to earlier in the season, the course was relatively dry making for much better playing conditions. However, the amount of falling leaves is starting to be a problem.
Very Friendly Staff
This is an average course : great for someone learning to play the game. The staff is very gracious and friendly.
It was very buggy one day after a rain and I didn't have any bug spray but they offered us some free of charge. That was much appreciated.
They do not like Portuguese people. They did not let me play. They told me that a Portuguese person caused problems a few years back and now if they know you are Portuguese they will not let you play.
Good beginner course
Just starting out golf so this was a good course for me. Read some bad reviews for it such as standing water, luckily I didn't run into those problems.
Would go again
You get what you pay for
The course itself isn't well kept but playable. I wasn't expecting much so I wasn't at all let down. We had a good time. I would go go back.
Playing was no fun in muddy pools of water
It rained very heavily the previous day and I was surprised to find that the course was open an they allowed golfers to use the motorized carts. With few or almost no proper cart paths, the fairway were very muddy and inundated with water. Had to quit after trhe first two holes as it was too wet to play. The management should take more care to protect the course by improving drainage, closing the course and not allowing carts on the course on wet days. Hope this helps.
One of the worst I've ever played.
I have played some pretty awful courses when I was younger and just learning the game, but this may beat all of them for the worst.
Standing water/mud everywhere and we haven't gotten any rain for 4 days. Fairways are indistinguishable from all other grass on the course (with the exception of the greens). Fairways are jarring while operating a golf cart due to rough terrain and attempted drainage gulches running across them. Tee boxes are trashed. Greens while in need of rolling and mowing were actually somewhat healthy looking, so there's a plus I suppose.
I didn't expect much for what I paid but I got a good deal through an online tee time and figured it was cheaper practice than going to the range. I was wrong, it's impossible in most places to hit an iron if you are used to taking a divot, you end up sticking your club in the muck. I'm sure when it does dry out you'd be hitting off of hard pan clay... Hard to practice in conditions that don't replicate a real fairway.
Avoid this place if you are used to playing anywhere nice at all.
Conditions wet and sparse
Several areas of standing water and tough playing conditions.
Bad weather condition and wet spring contributed to
bad condition of course. Not enjoyed playing there.
The course is in really bad shape, especially the fairways and greens
I got a deal so I decided to try it again. The course is in very bad condition. Some of the fairways are just awful. There was nobody on the course when I went and I can understand why now.
Under maintenance but enjoyable
The course has good variety of play with 4 different nines. The layout has 4, 4, and 5 pars with various hazards but the terrain is generally flat and under maintenence. Well stocked pro shop.
Words cannot express how disappointed I am with this course. I was told it had been modified. If it has, I'd like to know where. Would not recommend this course to anyone. Sorry.
