Best Course
Best public course in Cleburne County at this time. Course needs work but with regards to last month being so hot and dry the course was in great shape compared to others in the area.
Not as expected
From all I had read Tannenbaum was supposed to be an exceptional course. I was quite disappointed in the course. Fairways were generally like hard turf. Looked like the course was not been watered all summer. Greens were extremely average. Some in ok shape, others not so good. Definitely have played municipal courses that I would consider superior to this course. Even with the discount I think it was over priced.
Excellent hidden gem
Great golf course, one of my favorite in the state. Wouldn’t change anything except that when it’s 100 degree weather, some water coolers around the course would be much appreciated.
Great track for great price
If you want a course with views in the hills…this one is for you. Staff is super friendly. Price was awesome! Overall course conditions were above average. Bent greens rolled well. Fairways in above average shape. Only drawback was the bunkers. It looks as if they have decided not to spend the man hours on keeping them up.
So….if you want a nice round of golf, with a view…at a good price. This one is for you.
Will definitely be back
Great course
Quiet, challenging, worth the drive from my location. I have been playing this course since it opened. If your in the greets ferry area this is a must.
Pleasantly surprised
The layout was very easy on the eyes as well as playability. Several holes are awe inspiring. One par 3 has an elevation change close to 130 feet!.I couldn't see the green until I got close to the edge of the tee box. So, with its secluded/ isolated location and a great price tag it's a great track!
People need to learn how to fix their divots, nothing worse then a really nice green beat up by careless people
Great golf
A very unique layout - beautiful views - one of the best maintained courses in the area . We will play again.
Hidden Gem
Fairways & Greens almost perfect! Will be back to Arkansas' hidden gem.
Scenic and Challenging
Bring your camera. This is a gorgeous course. Some of the Tee-boxes need work. The fairways and greens were excellent. We showed up on a Saturday morning and they were able to squeeze us in. It took just under 4 hours to play 18. V
Tannenbaum… if you’re in the area
Some nice vistas, friendly staff, only four groups out so the pace of play was great.
Course was in mediocre condition, not much grass on the back tee boxes, some greens were fast some were not…
Hole 12, a downhill par three is 14 yards deep and 20-yards wide and may be the most difficult hole with no where to bail out. Pretty, but unfair.
Four of five very demanding tee shots that leave you 25-30-yards wide if you want to hit driver, not really following the 50-yard rule of canopy of the trees to the canopy of the trees…
Did finish birdie, Eagle so left with good vibes!
Recommend trying the pulled pork with slaw and. Spices.
Fun little country course if you’re passing through…
Great Course
I love this course. One of my favorite places to play. Will definitely be checking it out again soon.
