Sevierville River
Great golf course. Really fun to play.
Great course
Course was in great shape. One of nicest course we have played all year. Much better course than those played in Myrtle Beach, SC or Williamsburg, VA
Excellent experience, again.
The course is always in phenomenal shape and the layout is challenging but fair. When in east TN you have to experience this course for yourself.
Awsome Day
It was my husband's birthday. Even though it was scorching hot we still had a great time. The course was recently watered down and was in absolute great shape. We have played there before and will paly there again and again.
Fun times on the links!!
If u don't know before you start it is a links style golf course. After the tee shot you don't see the club house til 18th hole. Plenty of water coolers and bathroom facilities on course. The beverage cart was readily available even on a busy day I believe they had 2 carts roaming the 2 separate courses..(big plus on HOT days). The course was challenging and fun I was paired with 2 other guys and it was a little slow in front of us but with good conversation and allowed to take a little more time and really enjoy the round we had a blast and even decided to pair up the next day at another local course. The staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous from the cart personnel to the clubhouse it was a great experience. The greens had been aerated recently but you could barely tell because the greens were true and fast. Would definitely recommend and play here again anytime..
Great course
Best shape of any course I've played. Great practice facility. If you hit the fairway, your lie is perfect. Greens were perfect. I can't believe I played for the price I paid.
Great
The course was in excellent condition. Love this place.
Try the Higjlands
What a great layout. We were supposed to play the River but the starter let us play the Highlands since the River was backed up. I'm glad he did. I played from the blue tees but lots of tee options for every level. It sounds like a mountain course and it definitely has elevation changes but it's not overwhelming. The fairways are fairly forgiving but play the forward tees if you can't carry the ball 150+ yards on some of your tee shots. I put chased on GolfNow but only saved about $5. - even at the last minute. Greens run true and don't get greedy by trying to cut corners. They protect short cuts pretty well. At $55 with cart it's a great value and a fun course.
This course reminds me of many I played in Florida
Great condition minimal hazards nice view friendly people
Nice, but very penalizing.
If you can't hit every fairway, bring plenty of balls. Just off the fairway is knee high rough. The greens are fabulous. Great course if you can hit the ball straight every time.
Challenging layout
The River Course gives you a stiff challenge. Rolling fairways and plenty of room to land good drives. It has water and tall fescue areas which make driving accuracy a priority. Put the ball in the fairway and your second shot will be to a nice size green that has plenty of slope. A creative putters dream.
Fun day on a beautiful course
Very nice course. The River is the tougher of the two courses. It was in very good condition and the setting in the Smoky Mountains is breathtaking. Greens were in good condition and pretty fast. I will definitely be back!!!
Great golf experience.
Beautiful course. Excellent condition. Enjoyed the round immensely.
Good
Nice course. Plenty of yardage from tips if you want. Fast, nice rolling greens. Maybe three holes on the back that you could throw away, but otherwise a solid course in every respect. Weird layout, kind of confusing at times, and no clubhouse at the turn. Nice opening holes.
Much more challenging than indicated by slope rating
Very challenging course, first five holes are probably as difficult as any you will encounter. Pick your tee boxes carefully or you will be humbled. Greens were in excellent condition, very fast, very contoured & sloped greens, at least 14 of 18 greens elevated which provides an even greater challenge. Highly recommended but you can be humbled on almost any hole.
Best Course in Sevierville, Tn
The staff at this course is excellent. They were very helpful in every respect. The course was in great shape and the greens are very fast. Will definitely play again.
The river course
The river course is a very challenging course must hit the ball straight but not long. You can get lost course not marked that well. The greens are in excellent shape. Will play again and will recommend this course.
Good Course
It's not called the River Course for appeal. Water is in play on most of the holes. The course was in great shape for the winter season. The staff was very cordial and gave advice on holes that had unseen hazards.
Great place
Awesome course highly recommend
River Course
Had no issues with course, our issue is with Golfnow. We confirmed our reservation for 12:10 for 2 tee times, when arrived at course, Golfhow had doubled booked our tee time. Hope this doesn't happen again.
