Nice course
The back nine was nice and open. Had a great time and played at a nice pace.
Burner deal
Nice course friendly people, almost had the place to ourselves.
Good Value in an area with few courses
The course is a tale of 2 nines. Front 9 is old style muni with postage stamp upside down saucer greens. Back 9 is more modern with undulating greens. In this area this is the only value priced option so you get good value for your money. Downside is the course does not reserve tee times so you have to just take your chances. I played Thursday morning and was only able to play the front 9 twice because they had a league playing the back that shotguns all the holes.
Hidden Gem
This course is so much fun to play!! I am around a 20 handicap, and there is plenty of challenge for me. It is technically an "executive course", but it is so well kept, with a very laid-back vibe...how can you not want to play here. My wife and I will be back often!!!
Great Value
This course was a lot of fun. A great value for the dollar. Very laid back feel. Perfect place to practice and/or take new players to learn.
Staff is great. People on the course were very laid back as well.
Front nine is obviously older than the back. Very nostalgic feel to the front. Reminds me of the muni courses I played as a kid. Back nine much more modern feel.
Blue Heron Stevensville MD
The coarse is ok to play. Its more of a practice coarse to me. The front 9 is 50yrs old or more but its not that bad. Its good for working on your shorter clubs. The back 9 is only like 10yrs old. The holes are short for the most part but its a great place to go with your buddies and work on your medium to short game and make some friendly bets. There are a few holes on the front and back 9's that driver is needed but most of the whole can be reached with hybrids or woods. The only problem with the place is that there isnt much of a practice area. Other then that I love it. Enjoy. :-)
