Not your average nine hole course
You don't expect a nine hole course to be as challenging as this course is. It has many challenging holes with great elevation changes. It is a combination links/parkland design with areas of natural fescue grasses and woodlands. It is very scenic considering it was built over a prior landfill. Course conditioning is much better than most area municipal courses. Bent grass tees, fairways, and greens are well maintained. The driving range is one of the nicest in the area. An absolute bargain and hidden gem.
Great value for a fun public course
Enjoyed a early March round at Centennial. Paid $23 for 9 holes with cart. Course was slightly backed up but moved well once we got started. Staff was very nice and took good care of us. 10/10 will repeat.
Only Course Open
Finally a decent day to go golf after several months of grey, wet and cold. Found this course on the app and got a pretty good price 14 dollars for 9. Showed up at noon and the course was busy. The parking lot has pay to park signs that I tried to pay on the app but didn’t work. Not sure if I’ll get a bill in the mail or not but either way it’s a park. Paying to park is for the birds. Went inside and asked for general directions and the guy was pleasant. Nobody is managing the start times and I wasn’t even told to wait for my tee time. I waited till it was actually my time to go like a good person but it was obvious that nobody else followed that logic or had a clue. 9 holes 2 1/2 hours which would typically be my 18 hole time as a single. Kids were out there acting like kids and old men were driving through tee boxes and right up to the green. I’m not the type to call anyone out or be a stickler for rules but basic course etiquette is a standard and destroying the course by being lazy is beyond me. Probably won’t be back because I see it’s a running theme that this place is slow and I like a quick round when I’m alone.
It was a pretty fun course but I didn’t think the staff was particularly friendly. Also felt very rushed and we only had two golfers in our group. I think there are better options in the area
Okay Course Close To Home
Centennial is close to my home. I prefer playing 18 holes, but this course with the back up of people, would take forever to play 18 holes. Always crowded no matter what time of day. Last time there, we had a twosome that was impatient with the speed the two groups in front of us were playing. They were teeing off and hitting their balls so they would land right next to us and a few times their balls came close to hitting me. We were getting so aggravated with them that I finally said something to them and they had to accept that there are other players in front of us and we all paid to play, not just them. They went around us and the two groups in front of us to play the next hole. You would think the pro shop would tell you to start on another hole than one, or stagger their tee times better so you do not have to sit and wait for other people on the first hole to tee off. We will be back, because it is reasonable and close to home.

Starter and Structure Needed Here
I played on the 4th of July morning. Pulled up to the 1st tee, 5 min prior to my tee time, and there were 9 people waiting to tee off + another group of 4 that just happened to have the same tee time as my group (booked days in advance). So there was a total of FIFTEEN people going off at the same time, no starter to manage, no one enforcing pace of play. We drove around the back up, never played the first hole and it took us nearly THREE hours for 8 holes. How does Centennial not have someone out there on a holiday? How do they book 6+ people at the same time? No idea. Just bad management.
Course, as always, was in great shape although the greens were pretty beat up with divot marks - assuming because of holiday traffic that has never played golf before. Facilities were nice - always a plus having a good range and putting area.
Disappointed
Have played this course in the past but really disappointed in the condition this year. Hopefully they will fix all the issues they have. Fairways in very poor condition and so were the greens.
