must play
This is a course that you need to say you played. It is tough and the greens are really challenging. Fast and hard to read. We had a fun day . For me, it's not a course I would want as a daily player. Too grueling for an average golfer like me. Once in a while is fine.
IF YOU CAN'T PLAY AUGUSTA, PLAY HERE
Absolutely the finest course in the area. Cross cut fairways..undulating, fast greens..4 sets of tees for all skill levels..excellent restaurant/bar..beautiful clubhouse. You are treated as if you are at a private Country Club at Glendarin Hills. It is worth the time, and money to experience this course. Range balls are included with your fee. Excellent practice facility.
One of the best
North East Indiana, Southern Michigan's, Best course for the price
Nice course but not worth $64
Very well kept and challenging course, however I don't feel it's worth $64 for 18. Other than overpriced, it is a nice facility and course.
You're Golf Destination!!
This Golf course has it all, from 3 tiered greens and tight hole locations to wide and narrow fairways. The course is always in great shape and is unpredictable around the greens. A 3 foot putt can easily turn into an Ernie 7 putt. The undulation of these greens are what you will learn to hate, but love. The greens are something special and always kept nice for a smooth roll. But if you are ever above a hole, be very very careful (that's the hate part). It makes for a great and enjoyable time on this course. Also the shop monitors all GPS on the carts to make sure pace of play is good, so if a group falls behind, they can warn them to catch up, if not, they will come out and let that group know. Also each hole is actually away from the any other hole, so you feel like it's just you out there enjoying golf. All-in-all, if you ever get a chance to play, TAKE IT!! The only regret you're going to have is that you haven't played this gem more. It will definitely have you coming back! The greatness of this course does not stop there, it flows right to the restaurant. The food here is fantastic. If you have a chance to sit down and eat, you will not be disappointed!
Fast greens
Greens are fast, staying below the hole is a must. The course is one of the best I have played
It was great
I played afternoon and got a nice time at this course. Very Nice Course
Great northern Indiana course
Glen Darin is a challenging course that have nice subtle breaking quick greens. Very enjoyable course that will make you think and work to score.
I had a great time
Beautiful surrounding, friendly people
This was my first time playing this course. I had heard many good things about it and they proved to be true. It was in excellent condition considering a couple of inches of rain the night before. People were friendly and ready to take care of every need. I will go back whenever I get a chance.
This course has it all!
Great facilities, great staff, great course. They treat you like family here. Tee boxes, fairways, greens, were all in fantastic shape. Country Club caliber. Kudos to the superintendent and workers. What a fantastic golf experience. Fair for all levels of golfers. Highly recommend playing if you get the opportunity. Thanks, and I'll certainly be back.
Great Day
One of the best courses you can play in the NW Ohio/NE Indiana area. Course was in excellent shape and staff was very friendly. Can't wait to get back to play again.
A real gem!
Great course and beautiful clubhouse. Played with my son on our way to Chicago. Perfect start to the weekend! Greens were fast and true and layout was challenging but fair.
Other than my game everything was perfect
I've played Glendarin about ten times and enjoy it immensely every time. Getting a deal from Golfnow.com made the day even better. Well worth the drive.
Glendarian
Awesome layout and the course was in great condition. Staff was super friendly, and I had a wonderful time.
Great Service
First time at the course. Have played several others in the area however. Definitely will make it back to glendarin.
Best course in the area and with theGolf Now price, it was a steal.
Great layout. As a senior (76) I appreciate the different tees. Many courses the member tees are too long and the front tees too short. GH green + green/blue are perfect for me.we had a great time and I played pretty well.
Golf in November
We played on a November day with a high temp in the mid-40s. Course was still in excellent condition and we were able to play 18 in 3.5 hours. The course played longer than usual due to the cold air with slower fairways due to the time of the year and recent wet weather, so it presented a new challenge.
Glendarin Hills is a Hidden Gem
Glendarin Hills is the great course which deserves more recognition than it receives. The course is always in great shape and the staff is very courteous. Remember to bring plenty of golf balls! Lots of water and the course is very challenging. Greens are very undulated and very, very, fast. Great golf course, can't wait to play it again!
Enticing
What a fun course that steps out of the flattish terrain of Indiana golf and transports into another state, such as; Kentucky, Tennessee, or the extreme southern tip of Indiana.
There were quite a few picturesque holes. Often times when I play a course I don't remember many of the holes (Pinehurst #2 comes to mind) but I can honestly say - 2 months later - I still have plenty of memories of a single round of golf.
Highly recommend!!!! ( Did I mention the rates are reasonable too?)
