Bad greens...
My wife and I have played this course many time over the last 10 years or so, some time as much as once a week. If you play this much you can see when change happens good or not so good. When Chris Weddings was pro his priority were the greens... always a good smooth putting surface. The greens Monday were bumpy, had crow foot weeds and very inconsistent. Not a good experience. The fairways have always been rough because of a lack of irrigation but not a problem if you bump it. With out good greens all that is there is a pasture with some flags on mounds. Spend your money on the greens and we can overlook the other.
Great hospitality
Took my 14 year old son for his first ever round of golf. We had a blast!
Country Golf Course at a value
The course is in fair condition but for the price I paid ( the cost of a bucket of balls at a five star facility) I can't complain. There are some interesting holes and plenty of opportunity to score low or high if you're not keeping it in the fairway. It's not Pebble Beach, but if you want a change and enjoy playing vs. the driving range, it's a good value. I'm not sure I would drive further than I did from the Katy area, but I enjoyed the change. The staff was friendly enough and let me play earlier than my tee time. The place of play was fantastic and met some nice folks out there.
this course is good if the price is night
The greens are in pretty good condition. The fairways are decent on some holes, but on others pretty rough. I played this course for $15 so at that price its not all bad.
Greens were Horrible
We played this course in July and the course was in terrible shape. The fairways were not cut properly. The greens were horrible and in VERY bad shape. The ball couldnt roll without a bumpy roll on its way. Overall I would not play this course for the money that was paid. This should be a 15.00 maximum course in the shape its in.
Bang for the buck
Just another situation of a decent golf course at great value for a high handicap like myself....works every time.
Great Course
Faith Bridge ranch is a friendly place to go spend the day playing golf. It is a laid-back atmosphere where you can have a challenging but enjoyable game of golf. The staff was extremely friendly, and that by itself, is my main reason for returning. You will enjoy yourself.
Fun course
This little course is a lot of fun! There's enough water and trees to make it challenging. If you can keep the ball in the fairways, you can go very low. If not.........you guessed it!
Good challenge for the money
I enjoyed playing Faith Bridge and will return to play again. Once you get used to the cart path its not bad. Nice layout and relatively forgiving. Love the greens hopefully they will hold up to the summer sun
For the money ok but rather pay triple and play a better course
ok course for the money. you get what you pay for. greens very rough, the fairways were dry and you saw the dust when the ball hit.
Great value
One of my favorite places to play in the area. I drive 30 or so miles to play here jus because the pace is good. I can play 18 in under two and a half hours if you tee off early before the crowd!
Keep up the great deals
Your discounts on golf is much appreciated.because it seems like everyones prices are going up.
Great job!
great value
Decently challenging courage, fun to play. Its kind of out in the boonies but for the price I'm not goingto complain about the 30 minute drive from Katy.
Very tight
This course is back and forth with the fairways backing up to each other. Several times we had other people in our fairway looking for or hitting out of the fairway that we were on. Staff was ok not real friendly but not cold either. The greens were kinda rough and the fairways have plenty of weeds.
challenging fun course
Always enjoy playing here..and with golf now rounds are cheaper than when I had a membership!
Fairways are bare
Very little grass on fairways, and quite a bit of clover. Layout of course is OK but right now the fairways are really bare.
RT
What I would call typical for a country course. Priced right for the course. If you don't like it, join a country club. They had just aerated the greens so they were very slow and bumpy. I have always enjoyed playing there. Just a long drive for me
Didn't see too many changes due to new management. Maybe they just need more time..
Condition
Course was great for the price. Could use work on the fairways
Good Value
Nice course for the money fun and a great staff. Course is having a few upgrades preparing for spring so some of the holes are having new cart paths built or some new grass put in. Laid back play a good course for beginner to intermediate players. Not an easy course but not too hard for less skilled players.
