this course has a nice layout.
there wasnt any sand in the traps and the greens were areiated and inconsient. the pro shop was very friendly. the fairways are drying out. the course needs a little tlc.
Great 9 holes
Course is great. Fun to play and very scenic. Also got my first hole in one on the 8th hole! Will play again next week
Save your money
Greens were in terrible condition. (airatted but not sanded)Cart paths were non-existent and the paths were dirt and totally rutted and bumpy. If they were
letting you play for free I'm not sure I would even show up.
Great Course
The course was very well maintained. Will recommend it to my friends. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Course needs work, but tons of potential
Interesting track with a nice array of required shots. So many things need attention though... Sand bunkers need sand, cart paths if you can call them that desperately need to be smoothed. I could tolerate some poor conditions if their was evidence that some improvements were underway, but there was no evidence what so ever. Greens were aererated but barely top dressed. This was not highlighted on the Golfnow listing which was frustrating. It really felt like the owners must be going broke because they certainly aren't trying to make the course better. Too bad as the layout is quite good.
This course is great
This course was quiet. If you want to get away from it all, then this is the place to go. Only 9 holes so you will only be away from your family for a few hours.
Long but playable. But staff clearly doesn't like the $
I've always liked the course but the staff doesn't like that we pay so little using this website. Unfortunatly,I've run into this at a number of other courses as well. Harmon was the most recent and most outrageous. Shame too, I live close to both.... But I live close to others too.
greens needed cut super slow
The course was ok. I did not have everything working for me, so i did not score as well as i hoped. Nothing special about it. The course was very wet.
I have played this course numerous times and as always had a great and challenging time
It was a little disappointing that the course was not in its usual great shape, but I know the weather we have had lately is to blame. Other than that it is a tough little course and very beautiful.
Decent course, great price, plenty of challenge and scenery
This a nice 9 hole course...not short on length or challenge..some tough holes. Friendly staff, laid back atmosphere, and good value for sure.
Good Value - nice greens.
Greentree is the perfect course to take a beginner to practice and learn the game. It is not so busy that you are pressured to pick up and keep moving. The fairways are starting to mature and fill in, although some need attention. The greens were fantastic, minimal ball marks, no burned out spots, and putted true.
The carts paths are gravel, and need some serious attention.
More than expected.
This course is a hidden gem. It provided beauty and challenges from the first tee. The holes follow the rolling terrain and provide great elevation changes. Local knowledge is helpful but not necessary. Staff were friendly and accommodating. One of the best features is the QUIET! You feel like you are the only people around. No street noise, barking dogs, or other irritating distractions. A definite place to frequent.
best 9 hole around
they have the most challenging and well maintained course in the area. i play 2 or sometimes 3 times a week and have not seen a course in that great of shape. its a good course for the novice player and scratch golfer. GREAT COURSE AND STAFF
Really like course.
Nice course and very walk able. Some very tough holes and some open driving holes. Can't wait for them to put another 9 holes in.
decent course with pretty good rates
Condition: greens were slow but smooth, soft, and disease-free in late July drought. Fairways were not good enough to play ball as it lies if you like good lies in the fairway. Rough was thin, rock hard summertime hardpan. Tee boxes could be cut a bit shorter.
Design / Property: above average layout with no houses around, would love them to add a 2nd nine. Tee shot on 9(18) from tips is brutal.
Staff: no hassles
Value: $25 or lower for 18w/cart on weekends
Nice Nine Holer
It is a very good 9 Hole course. It has great character. Challenging par 5. Challenging par 4's. It is fun when you can hit and run. Sometimes the first tee gets crowded with new tee times and folks making the turn. The course can get congested. That is a testament to its quality. Hard to find a better nine hole layout. The greens are well manicured all season.
Great Course
Greentree Golf Club is a course that many don't know about, but when they find it they won't forget it. The greens are always in great condition and roll true. The course is the most peaceful I have played on; no houses, no streets, no distractions. The staff is the friendliest you can find and the rates are hard to beat!
