Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Pines Course
About
The Pines Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood. The Links and the Ridge are the other two. The courses can be played individually or as three different 18-hole combinations. The Pines Course is named after the mature, tree-covered landscape. It and the Ridge Course make up the original layout at Eagle Ridge G.C. They were built over a sand and gravel quarry that was used to help build the Garden State Parkway in the late 40s. The unique and undulating topography is a result of this. The towering pinelands lend a sheltered feel to the course as well as a challenging element to the game. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play along the greensides.

Great course
All around 10 for me. Greens were quick, fairways plush and green. Extremely well Maintained. Beautiful course to play.
Beautifully challenging course
This course is one of the most beautiful courses I have played. The hazards were strategically placed to provide true risk/reward. This is a course I would recommend to any avid golfer.
Eagle Ridge
Pines course / greens in great shape.
Links course was very challenging
Worth the money!
I always have a great time. I always seem to have great people to play with. The course conditions were excellent, and the greens
Great overall course with a very friendly staff
It’s a course that I go to consistently because of the course, staff & amenities.
Love the course, really is one of the best around. However, $100+ is a little much. Used to play here in the summer for $68 and every year it goes up and up. The course is really great I can’t lie but anything north of $95 for here is a little absurd, hence why I really only play here in the winter and that’s still pushing it for $68. But I guess you’re getting your money’s worth because the course is beautiful.
Disappointed by conditions
For someone who plays a lot of golf at municipal courses, i was a little disappointed by the poor conditions of the fairways and greens.
I am used to players not bothering to repair divots at public courses but surprised by how chopped up they were at this course.
Many of the greens were even worse! I counted 12 deep ball marks that were un-repaired on one green making it very difficult to putt.
Other than this, the course was a lot of fun. It was hotter than hades but we made it through.
Many challenging holes, some protected by bunkers the size of a small city made par difficult for this first timer but we enjoyed the course very much.
Enjoyable Challenge
Played Pines/Links. Interesting layout…. Lots of variety. Tees, Fairways, Greens in very good condition. Rough very long and thick in many places. Lots of sand to deal with. Only complaint was that the white tees were a bit short for med/hi handicapper…especially the par 3’s…but also clear that blues would have been too tough. Not a walkable course… especially Links course… very long cart commute. But will definitely play again if I have the opportunity
Challenging for firsttime playing…
Challenging for first time playing lots of Send traps, long grasses, Trees and tight fairways but enjoyed very much course conditions were excellent.
Beautiful course.
Definitely takes some skill on this course. Pace of play was extremely slow however was able to end up playing through. Left by balls at home and concierge was kind enough to take payment over phone and deliver to me on the hole.
Challenging
Beautiful course. Difficult rough. Slow pace of play.
Play review
Greens are too slow and bumpy. Too many unrepaired divots. Fairways were good but the rough grass was too long and uncut. Ok for a public course but could be more cost friendly.
