Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Pines Course
About
The Pines Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood. The Links and the Ridge are the other two. The courses can be played individually or as three different 18-hole combinations. The Pines Course is named after the mature, tree-covered landscape. It and the Ridge Course make up the original layout at Eagle Ridge G.C. They were built over a sand and gravel quarry that was used to help build the Garden State Parkway in the late 40s. The unique and undulating topography is a result of this. The towering pinelands lend a sheltered feel to the course as well as a challenging element to the game. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play along the greensides.

Awesome layout
1st time playing . I played the pines and the lynx . . Can’t wait for golf now to have the same deal .
layout
1 st time playing this course and loved the layout of both courses . Pines and the lynx. fairways were like hitting off a carpet.
Favorite Course in Ocean County
Greens were tough to putt on because of aerated greens. But we knew that ahead of time. This course is just beautiful
A quiet and windy day.
Played Eagle Ridge on a quiet Tuesday. The staff were friendly and asked which of the 3 nine hole courses we wanted to play. We played the Pines then the Links. The Pines was easy to follow around from hole to hole. The Links was a little confusing at times as to which direction to go next. A couple more signs on the course would help. The Links is also the most difficult of the 3 courses especially in the wind and being cart path only due to winter preparations. Can’t wait to play here again in warmer weather. Great course.
Good Conditions for Middle of Winter
Other than some greens needing a mowing or rolling, all else was as expected for mid-winter NJ. I would def recommend Eagle Ridge to all. Great layouts, interesting and challenging holes.
Cart path only
If they're wondering why the place is empty and can't fill the tee times on a beautiful Friday in the winter it's because they want $80 and it's cart path only. The fairways were bone dry too. Ridiculous
