straightforward
This course is nothing but straight. Played the president's course. Very boring. Every hole is just flat and straight from the tee to the green. No water and absolutely no bunkers anywhere. The grass was brown and the ground was hard. Hit a good tee shot and the ball will roll to the green. The greens were bumpy and very slow. Positives are that it's a large course and the food is very good.
grass
Grass could be greener wasn't Happy with all the brown spots
Good for beginners
Played with my wife who's a beginner and this was a good course for her. Wide open and in decent condition for the most part. Greens are crazy slow... Like putting on shag carpet. Drink cart came by 3 times and pace of play was fine. Worth it for the money if you get a decent deal on golf now
The course is slightly challenging.
It is a good course to play with your buddies and with strangers.
Not bad for a cheap course.
I would consider this an executive course, because it is a Par 66 I believe. Not many trouble areas for advanced players, but it would be a good challenge for beginners. Tee boxes, fairways, rough, bunkers, and green are all in decent, but not very good shape. If you can play for around $15-20, Id say go for it.
Bear Creek Presidents
Fairly easy, straight foward course that is perfect for beginners or intermediate players who feel like shooting low scores. The course itself isn't anything to brag about. It'll have it's dead spots but is playable all through the fairway up to the greens. By the way, bear creek will be thickest greens you'll ever see. It lends to low scores so you can't complain too much once you get accustomed to it.
On a side note: Our cart was dying around 16 and barely made it in with some pushing. The starter saw this and offered us to play another 9 holes for our trouble. We decide not to but the gesture was nice anyway.
Good Condition
This was the best condition I've ever seen this course. Greens were a little long and slow, but they were green.
Slow
There was a group on the 1st green, in the 1st fairway, and two groups already sitting at the tee box when I got there. They schedule too many tee times. Starter was very unfriendly.
Good course for the money
Played with my father-n-law. This course is pretty straight away with few hazards. Confidence builder. The greens were a little bumpy but overall well groomed. Will definitely play again
Cheap and Quick
Played as a single, finished just under 3 hours. The course was in good shape after recent rains and a fresh cut. The course is fairly open and easy, not many difficult challenges. The weather was great, low humidity with a slight breeze. Great day for golf, especially for $15!
Greens were in poor condition
Many of the greens were in very poor condition. Putting through sand, splotchy areas...reminded me of GUR putting.
$25 for weekend play. Get what you pay for!
$25 to play on the weekend. Get what you pay for. 20 min to check in. No direction on where to go. Golf cart attendant did not speak English. All greens had bad patches. Most fairways required moving the ball onto good grass to hit.
We all know the deal here
It's run down, dried out. Fairway greens. Getting to the greens are too easy, then you get there and the putting is laughable. I know the weekends are usually jam packed and since my round was during an afternoon it wasn't too busy but the people playing were hacking. That's okay since this is a beginner course. I would never pay full price here. Only for a hot deal. Golfers beware.
The practice greens were different from the course greens
The overall course was is average condition. They should pair twosomes together
Presidents Bear Creek
Fairways and greens in bad shape, little grass in fairways and greens. Course was easy to play..
Will no honor Arnold Palmer membership if booked through Golf Now!
The course is a little above average, price is ok and the Masters is a good challenging course. Food is good, but what is keeping me away in the future is a 'policy'. They do not honor the benefits of the Arnold Palmer Club IF you book through GolfNow.
We were told this\ was the policy of 'management'
Other than this it makes for a good outing. But finding the APC is invalid is not a positive experience. Be warned.
Masters course needs a lot of love.
Greens where very slow and several of them had missing patches of green grass just sand &
dirt to putt through. The fact that I am spending a few minutes to write a review at midnight
says a lot that I didn't want to forget. If greens where in at least average shape, I would return
to play again.
Perfect course for beginners and high handicappers
Played President's course with wife and two friends. This is a great course for beginners and high handicappers due to no sand or forced carries. You can hit from just about anywhere.
Fairways are thin and bare in spots and greens had been recently aerated so putts bounce all over. Played in 4:10 with two beginners.
We wanted bloody Mary's and cart girl went all the way to the clubhouse to get the Vodka and the came back and mad our drinks.
4 people $82 at 2:37 pm on Golf Now!
Worth $20 Hot Deal Time
EXTREMELY EASY course. Very little to 0 water in play. 0 bunkers. Every hole is dead straight. Hard fairways with clay and hard pack scattered sporadically. Greens were in acceptable shape however speed was EXTREMELY inconsistent from hole to hole. All in all worth the $20 round.
