A Brazilian Golf experience
What a wonderful day! My expectations weren’t very high, but I’m happy to say it was well worth my time and money. About 65F degrees with a steady 20mph wind. It is winter time and the course isn’t as lush as it probably is in summer months, The course is forgiving but has some surprises to be dealt with during the round. It’s very walkable (trolley provided with rental). I came with a hat and sunscreen. I rented clubs that needed a through cleaning to find the grooves. Bring golf balls and tees, they are in shortage. A shelve of three was 70 real/$18USD (came home with all three). Greens are Bermuda and very slow. It’s nearly like playing in Ireland, take one less club and play it to bounce and run. 40 going out and 40 coming in. Happy with that score not knowing course, meter to yds conversion and the rental clubs ( I’m 6’7” with 3” of extra length of my clubs and used standard length). I couldn’t miss an opportunity to play golf in Brazil and another continent. Tudo Bom!!!
