front 9 only
This course will be great when the renovations are complete. bad luck for us the front 9 is the lower elevation, and not as pretty. the restaurant was closed. because of a water main break, and the clerk in the pro shop was clueless about EVERYTHING. other than that it was decent golf, but highly overpriced.
Avoid this course
Amenities are inadequate for price (no driving range, makeshift clubhouse (smelled of sewage), no food/drink available in the morning). Clubhouse staff was rude. Course is well kept but forced into area near highway. Only 9 holes were available to play but I was not informed of this when booking an 18 hole tee time. Whoever is in charge makes me they don't give a f___. Lots of options near there. Try anything else.
Only Front Nine
Course was ok, but only front 9 playable. 18 hole value nit there in my opinion for the goat!
A short course from the tips
Best part of the course were the friendly and accommodating staff. Having to replay the front due to a 2 season closure of the back nine should be reflected in greens fees.
Copper Creek 9 holes
Fun course with challenging holes
Back nine closed
Back 9 no longer there. They are building a hotel. No one told me the back was closed when I booked online.
Ehh.
They should just plow ghe whole thing under instead of just half.
Ehh.
At one time, this was probably a good course. But now as a 9 holer that lost its sister 9 to a hotel development, it’s almost not worth the bother. Too bad.
Copper Creek 1/2 baked
We were disappointed to realize that only 9 holes were open as I it under construction. This made play slower and timing important to replaying the same nine.
The nine open was great, with the exception of a couple of unfair pin placements for the weekend.
The staff was exceptional, but we should have been told ahead of time that only one nine was live.
Copper creek
Copper is fun for the price. But don't expect to practice or even warm up. It has the worst practice area of any course I've ever played! Also playing the front twice is kinda weak! I hope when the back 9 is finished, Copper will return to glory! Great ski mountain however!!
Fun MT Course and you get to tee off at the highest box in North America
I have to admit that this was a "tourist round" that I booked as a Colorado Mt course, got a deal on GolfNow and was easier than other more famous course to get to. I ended up having a ball, fun course, up and down, interesting layout and there are often deals on Golfnow to avoid the rack rate which is too much. The greens could be tough, some of the hole tricky, scenery os c outstanding and the noise form I-70 nearby is not a big deal. Do play it if you have a chance.
