Open fairways and large greens and well maintained.
Some challenging water holes, but the sand traps were very small and didn't come into play.
Fun wide open track
Hoots Hollow has generous fairways for the most part, it is always windy, and you can count on great pricing for the 18 holes. The course however , plays to many people who are beginners and so pace of play can get slow and so be prepared for it and enjoy the day.
The course was probably under repair two weeks ago. What an excellent course, great shape, pace of play was exceptional, weather conditions were great. Each of the holes are challenging in themselves; the greens couldn't of been better.
Hoots is worth the drive
Not many trees some water but always windy. Greens have some spots from last year but putting well.
Reasonable price always
Let the Driver eat
Wide open course so bust that driver out without fear. Greens don't break as much as they look when judging your line. Was impressed w the course conditions and the staff. If you're struggling to get your driver accurate, this is ideal to get it dialed back in while still posting an aggressive score.
Good course. Some greens have dead places. I play here often. It’s not a Creekmore, or Fred Arbanas Golf course, but nice and a good value.
Harder than it looks
Wide open with few trees, water plays a part. Big greens with subtle breakss
fine course with good pace for a holiday saturday
had an 11 am Tee time and played in 2.75 hrs... on a holiday Saturday, Best pace of play on a weekend I played three days at 3 courses...
Rough is relatively forgiving, but it's not an "easy" course.
Great game even though it was very, very windy.....first time playing there and would play there again.
This course was a great place to play, but due to a possible selling, they have stopped working on the course. Lack of grass in the fairways and the greens were in horrible shape. Carts weren't charged and we had to have a new one brought to us.
I took clients and will never go again. Maybe if it was $20 green fee but not $40. Its a shame because it used to be a nice trek.
If there are giving up on the course their prices should reflect that.
Shots can be made
All of the holes can be challenging but also offer the chance at a good shot. Always seems to play different depending on the wind... and whether it is a one or two or sometimes even three club wind.... still a lot of fun.
Hoots Hollow at Country Creek value
The course as always is open but not easy to score. The only complaint is the greens are kept high and slow because many golfers will not take care of green surfaces.
It's looks wide open but you will leave thinking" I should have scored better"
First time breaking 100
I've played the other country creek courses a lot but this was my first time playing hoots hollow. This course has a bit more water involved than the quarry or rock courses but still wide open fairways that you can't do nothing but love. Shot my first score under 100 every on the 6600 yard course which made my day!!! Great course so be back. Fairways and rough aren't terrible but greens could be better shape, also super soft like it's clouds under the greens lol. But great fun nonetheless!
